Pollard Street's Hipster Container Park

Placeholder

Not content with effecting every possible form of refurb and defurb, Manchester's office market is moving on to: shipping containers.

A 2-acre plot at Pollard Street, within a short walk of Piccadilly railway station, at Islington, Manchester, could be about to see up to 280 former shipping containers installed as a venue for hipster businesses.

The project is the work of Meantime Creative, which already operates similar office parks in Bristol and Cardiff, North West Business Insider reports.

The containers are offered on serviced office-style contracts at around £100 a month, according to the Meanwhile Creative website.
