Caddick Construction, the sister company of Angel Gardens developer Moda Living, is to replace Carillion as contractor on the 35-storey build-to-rent scheme at NOMA, close to Victoria Station.

Work on the 466-unit scheme, funded by Apache Capital, began in January 2016.

The move follows the collapse into administration of Carillion.

According to Construction Enquier the developers already had a contingency plan in place for the £154M project.

“We have had contingency plans in place for some time and wanted to prioritise saving jobs, as we hugely appreciate the critical role played by the main subcontractors and small businesses that support major projects," Moda Director of Projects Andrew Parker said.

“We have always remained close to the key subcontractors and suppliers throughout the process and this has proved to be an essential part of the solution to keeping Angel Gardens on track.”
