The hard-to-miss yellow Bijan store on Rodeo Drive just sold for a record price of $122M.

The 6,287 SF store, at 420 North Rodeo Drive, sold last month for $19,405/SF to LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the parent company of Louis Vuitton, according to records.

Bijan, which often has a yellow Bugatti and a Rolls-Royce as well as a parking meter painted yellow in front, sells designer fragrances and menswear out of the 40-year-old store location, the LA Business Journal reports.

Holliday Fenoglio Fowler’s Bryan Ley, Marc Schillinger and Bill Fishel repped the sellers, the Brooks Caddell Barton Trust and Dominium Management Corp.

Previously, Chanel held the record, paying more than $13k/SF last year for its Rodeo Drive store. [LABJ]
