Lewis Brisbois Signs 215k SF Lease at US Bank Tower

Avison Young principal Jonathan Larsen (snapped here with associate Chandler Larsen at the firm’s newly renovated Downtown LA office) repped the law firm, and tells Bisnow more larger leases will get signed over the next few months in Downtown LA. We tend to agree, having previously dubbed the area "next." The law firm signed a 15-year, 215k SF lease, after it was forced to leave its 160k SF space at 221 N Figueroa. Last year's Da Vinci fire put an end to that.

Jonathan says the renaissance of Downtown LA with the live/work/play motto of Millennials has become a big draw for companies of all types as retail, supporting services and entertainment venues are popping up at a rapid pace. The 72-story tower has been undergoing a $50M reno, which includes the addition of two new high-end restaurants; a major overhaul of the lobby; and the completion of an observation deck on the top floors. Landlord OUE Limited was repped by Cushman & Wakefield's John Eichler and OUE's Peter Johnston.
