As if you needed any more proof that multifamily is on fire, Jamison Services has filed plans with the city to give two of its Wilshire Boulevard office buildings a multifamily makeover, Building Los Angeles reports. Here is a look at the 13-story, 230k SF office at 2500 Wilshire, which the company plans to convert to a building with 248 units.

The reno could have competition from the seven-story, luxury condo complex being developed by Somerset Group across the street (above), but we'll wait and see what Jamison will actually build. And about a mile away in K-Town, Jamison plans to convert the 12-story, 150k SF building at 3345 Wilshire into a 202-unit complex. But the firm may have its work cut out for this one, as Building LA reports only 150-units are permitted by code.
