Brandywine Bullish on Norwalk Middle Class

Placeholder

Brandywine Homes has broken ground on Citrine, a townhome community in Norwalk. Situated on one acre at 11433 Excelsior Dr, the project is an extension of nearby Sunstone, another under-construction Brandywine development in Norwalk.

The project is replacing six detached rental units with 16 two-story townhomes, ranging from 1,100 to nearly 1,500 SF. Units feature designer finishes, gourmet kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, as well as versatile, open floor plans, Urbanize LA reports. The site includes a common resident recreation area and is adjacent to a city park. The project is the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, Cerritos Mall and Knott’s Berry Farm.

Sunstone, which is being built on the site of a former school building, is a two-acre transit-friendly, gated community at 11009 Pioneer Blvd. This community offers 31 townhomes and is the only recent new-home development in the community, besides Citrine. Pricing for homes in both communities start in the low $400k's. [ULA]
