Metropolis' Phase II Is Topped Off
The final steel beam was nailed in place last week on top of the 40-story tower, which will include 514 condos and retail space.
The speakers at last Friday's event, attended by more than 500 construction workers, included (from left to right) Webcor SVP Mark Turner, LA City Councilman Jose Huizar, Greenland GM Chao Wu, and Harley Ellis Devereaux CEO Peter Devereaux.
The $1B mixed-use development is the largest, mixed-use development in DTLA, Curbed reports.
Sales have also begun for the 514 condos, which range from $600k to more than $2M.
