Around 200 Units May Be Built In DTLA's Chinatown

Placeholder

A new project in Chinatown could yield 203 new units on North Spring Street.

Chinatown developer Redcar filed plans last week to build the 192k SF mixed-use project, which would include about 21k SF of retail and about 212 parking spaces for residents. There would be about 70 parking spaces for retail customers.

The project could include the 55-year-old King Hing Theatre although it is not clear whether it would be torn down or incorporated into the development, Curbed reports.

Redcar describes the project as being in the design phase on its website. [Curbed]
