Palladium Towers Project Moves Along Despite Anti-Growth Debate

The LA Planning and Land Use Management Committee has approved the Palladium Residences project in Hollywood, denying an appeal and request to delay the decision from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which is a neighbor to the site.

The foundation has expressed concern the developers would demolish the Palladium and the project would negatively impact the foundation.

Developer Crescent Heights has stated it has no plans to tear down the Live Nation venue, according to Curbed.

The mixed-use project would consist of two, 30-story towers with 731 apartments. If approved, the developers could begin construction in 2017.

The project could be considered by the LA City Council as early as this week. [Curbed]
