Playa Vista Senior Housing Project Fully Reserved Ahead of 2016 Completion

Developed by Los Angeles Jewish Home, Fountainview at Gonda Westside, a new $100M senior housing development in Playa Vista is nearing completion. Although the project won’t be completed till next year, 100% of units are already reserved.

The six-story complex, designed by Gensler, features 175 one- and two-bedroom independent-living apartments and 24 assisted-living and memory-care units. Independent-living units feature spacious balconies or patios, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, and a full-size washer/dryer, according to Urbanize LA. Some units have dens or media rooms. Community amenities include a rooftop pool deck and spa, a fitness center, a library and a screening room.

This project is in nearby Runway, a $260M mixed-use complex that serves as Playa Vista’s commercial core. Runway includes 220k SF of retail, 420 apartments and 30k SF of creative office space. [ULA]
