Tenants Announced at BLOC in DTLA

Ratkovich Co has announced its first tenants for the $200M reno of Macy's Plaza in Downtown.

In addition to a major upgrade of the Macy's at the site, Ratkovich announced Wingtip, a men's haven of sorts, known for custom clothing, leather goods, cigars and rare single-malt scotches. In addition, there will be another, as yet unnamed, retail gallery concept, which is a collaboration between CNTRLgroup and Otto Design Group.

Milan Ratkovich says the new retailers give LA residents a taste of the type of brands the company is looking for at the development. Ratkovich also is behind the Hercules Campus (one of the top tech offices in the city), CBRE's Jeff Pion and Ratkovich gave us a tour and told us all about the property earlier this year. That campus may be fresh in your memory from the Google Earthquake this month.

The project, which will change the face of Seventh Street in the Financial District, also includes 750k SF of office, making it the biggest planned development in the city. Another phase of the project calls for an overhaul of the old Sheraton on the site.
