Waldorf Beverly Hills Breaks Ground

Work is underway on the $200M Waldorf Astoria at Wilshire and Santa Monica in Beverly Hills, Building Los Angeles reports. The project will feature a 12-story, 170-room hotel, in addition to snazzy retail and more. The investment team, led by Alagem Capital Group, brought in architectural big guns Gensler and Pierre-Yves Rochon for the hotel, expected to deliver in 2017.

Here's a look at the fancy interior of the hotel. Guest rooms call for floor-to-ceiling glass, in addition to private balconies with views of the city.
