Construction Still Trying To Recover

Construction still has a way to go before it fully recovers after the last financial crisis, according to Bill Wilhelm, president of R.D. Olson Construction. That's Bill, above left, at the Ladera Ranch groundbreaking in July.

He says there's a shortage of subcontractors that is negatively impacting the industry, according to GlobeSt.

There are also fewer younger people entering the workforce. Wilhelm says to help keep costs down, developers should not spend too much time finding a builder. [GS]
