Brooks Property Partners submitted a planning proposal for a new 37-story tower at 1 Leadenhall in the City. If all goes according to plan, the company could break ground as early as June 2018, according to Bdaily.

The 700k SF building will be slightly taller than the Gherkin. A seven-storey building on the site will be demolished and the new tower will feature 50k SF of office space, 4.7k SF of retail on the first three floors, and a nearly 10k SF public terrace with a winter garden. [BD]
