Helical Signs Two New Tenants At The Loom, Whitechapel

Helical’s The Loom project in Whitechapel is becoming a hive of creative enterprises as two new companies have signed leases. Hey Habito, an online mortgage broker, and Twelve Fifty One Communications, a business consultancy, took a total of 4,750 SF in two separate units on the first and second floors.

Both companies have agreed to five-year leases and rent of £52.50 pe SF.

Helical has refurbished and repositioned the former Victorian wool warehouse with a new entrance and new reception on Gowers Walk, an on-site café / bar operated by cult brand Look Mum No Hands!, showers and a bike shop.

The Loom achieved Wired Certified Gold, putting it in the top bracket in terms of broadband and telecoms infrastructure in the UK. Helical has a further 29k SF available in units ranging from 1,100 SF to 8,400 SF.

Helical says it is expects to announce more lettings soon.
