Survey: Tell Us What It’s Like To Be BAME In Property In 2019

Placeholder

There is a disproportionately low number of women in senior roles in UK property. But when it comes to people from black, Asian and minority ethnic communities, the numbers are even fewer and further between.

Bisnow has covered in detail issues around the lack of gender diversity in UK property, such as the gender pay gap, or the need for greater flexibility in working practices.

But now we wanted to look more closely at what it is like to identify as being BAME in UK property in 2019. What are the particular challenges? How prevalent is discrimination, and what forms does it take? And how can UK real estate do better?

If you identify as BAME and work in UK commercial property, we’d love to get your views. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey, created in conjunction with BAME in Property, at the link below. Please rest assured that all answers are completely anonymous.

Please be as thorough with your answers as possible. All responses are welcome, but in order to build a picture of being BAME in property, the more detail the better.
