Vintage Hannah One, a JV between Joel DeSpain and Robert Wheless, will deliver a Class-A self-storage facility with 851 units in The Vintage later this year. It'll have four buildings totaling 83k SF on 5.8 acres at 15500 Vintage Preserve Pkwy. HFF's Barbara Guffey arranged JV equity with an unnamed partner; she says the location in the mixed-use Vintage master planned development and surrounding residential (near people, which means stuff to store) drew the developers. The new facility will be one of only a few self-storage developments built in the area in the last decade. Joel and Robert have co-developed 10 Houston projects totaling $280M: five multifamily, three office buildings, one industrial, and a partridge in a retail power center.
