There is more good news for Dynamo fans ahead of the MLS Conference Finals. Brian Ching, the Houston Dynamo all-time leading scorer who led the team to two MLS Cup Championships in 2006 and 2007, has announced his latest venture: Pitch 25, a soccer bar and restaurant in EaDo. The venue's EaDo location at 904 Hutchins St. is strategically positioned between BBVA Compass Stadium and Downtown. The 25K SF venue will feature an indoor soccer field and large outdoor beer garden. Ching is working with The Kirby Group's Andy Aweida and Jeff Barati, who operate Heights Bier Garden and Wooster's Garden in Midtown.

Demolition of the space has already begun. Pitch 25 plans to open in March, ahead of the 2018 MLS season and FIFA World Cup. The team behind the development is seeking investments on NextSeed, an investment crowdfunding platform, to raise money for additional working capital for the build-out.
