See How These Houston Real Estate Execs Spent Their Summer Vacations This Season

It is already August and the industry is halfway through one of its slowest seasons of the year: summer.

With only two months left to sunbathe on the beach or trek through a foreign country with family, Bisnow has collected photos of commercial real estate execs on their summer vacations.

Below are a handful of Houston professionals vacationing with their loved ones before retiring their swimming suits, private jets and passports for the season.

Continuum Pacific Real Estate Managing Partner Hollie Kleitz and Sable Bay Energy Chief Financial Officer Eric Alfuth toured Greece for two weeks this summer with the Harvard Alumni Travels Program. Alfuth's parents wanted to take a family trip together to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary and it turned out to be the trip of a lifetime, Klietz said. 

The two-week trip to Greece, dubbed "Greece: A Family Odyssey," was spearheaded by the Harvard Alumni Travels Program and led by Plummer Professor of Christian Morals Jonathan L. Walton, who is also a professor of religion and society at Harvard University.

The group traveled by air, land and sea and visited many of the top historical sites in Greece, including Athens, Corinth, Nemea, Mycenae, Monemvasia, Messene, Olympia, Itea, Delphi and the Corinth Canal.

Evergreen Commercial Realty President Lilly Golden traveled to Big Sky Montana to rock climb with her family. While Golden said she enjoys Houston-based rock climbing gyms, nothing compares to the real thing — though she admit her body is still scraped up from the experience.

Transwestern Chief Financial Officer Steve Harding visited Greece with his family this summer. During the trip, the family visited Mykonos Village on the island of Mykonos and witnessed the famous blue domes and the Caldera in Santorini. Harding said he is praying for all of the families in Greece impacted by the wildfires. According to Condé Nast Traveler, the wildfires in several cities throughout Greece have killed at least 80 people, injured 187 people and forced thousands of residents to evacuate their homes.
