Here's another Throwback Thursday courtesy of Brookfield: Downtown in 1981. Chase Tower (then called Texas Commerce Tower) is there in its infancy—work officially completed on it the following year. We also like seeing the Great Southwest Building (formerly Petroleum Club Building). It opened in 1927 and just this week, it was announced that Todd Interests is finally about to close on it and convert it to multifamily. (Incentives for its planned redevelopment were approved way back in February.)
