Co-Working Space Provider TechSpace To Open Four New Houston Locations

2016 will be remembered as the year co-working came to Houston. TechSpace, fresh off an announcement that it's opening a 46k SF space in Westchase District's CityWest Place, announced it has plans in the works for four more properties at Greenway Plaza, San Felipe Plaza, Phoenix Tower and Post Oak Central. VP Brendan McGee says the deals are a result of the $2B Parkway and Cousins REIT merger, reports the Houston Business Journal. These properties were all owned by either Cousins or Parkway and are now under the spinoff Houston REIT.

Don't expect the new locations up and running anytime soon, though. TechSpace is working to prove its business model at the CityWest location, which isn't even expected to open till April 2017. [HBJ]
