Apache Signs Massive Renewal At Post Oak Central

Apache Corp. signed a 524K SF lease renewal at Post Oak Central with Parkway Properties. Cushman & Wakefield's Tim Relyea and Scott Wegmann represented Apache while Parkway's Eric Siegrist and Amanda Nebel represented the landlord in-house. The five-year lease, which replaces the 26-month extension announced in June, extends all 524K SF occupied by Apache at Post Oak Central through Dec. 31, 2024.

"This extension anchors Apache at Post Oak Central for nearly seven years, enhancing the campus’ stability for the foreseeable future and validating the capital investment made to improve the user experience in and around the campus," Parkway President and CEO James Heistand said.

The deal is the second major renewal in the Galleria area this year. Last month, CBRE and JLL renewed Williams' 324K SF lease at its namesake tower.
