Exxon To Sell Again

In June, Exxon sold Eight Greenway Plaza to Stream and AllianceBernstein. Now it’s got two more office projects on the block—it pegged JLL to market its Upstream Research Co HQ (pictured) at Buffalo Speedway and West Alabama and its Brookhollow facility on Dacoma Street along Highway 290. JLL put its power team on it—prez Dan Bellow, EVP Ronnie Deyo, managing directors Rudy Hubbard and Paul House, and VPs Kevin McConn and Beau Bellow.

Rudy (here, right, with Kevin) says the Upstream facility is one of the largest and most desirable infill tracts in all of Houston. He predicts the 16.8-acre site (which houses 15 buildings, including a 450k SF mid-rise) will be redeveloped into a mixed-use project with office, retail, residential, and hospitality components. On the other hand, the 24.4-acre Brookhollow site will probably stick as an office campus. (Its location, size, and existing improvements will appeal to companies.) It includes three office buildings totaling 500k SF, a full-service cafeteria, and 60k SF of storage and auxiliary buildings.
