Former Schlumberger EaDo HQ Sold To Preservationist

David Denenburg purchased Schlumberger's former US HQ in Houston's East Downtown. He plans to restore the property and begin leasing, as he is doing at the historic Cheek-Neal Coffee building in the same area. Denenburg told the Houston Chronicle he plans to seek state and federal tax credits to rehab the building. He'll put retailers on the first floor and office space or a medical user in the rest of the building. [Chron]
