The $200M Imperial Market development at the old Imperial Sugar Refinery in Sugar Land is off to a sweet start after the announcement of new tenants. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Schilleci’s New Orleans Kitchen, The Guild Bar, Mia Bella, The Company Town and Frost Gelato have all inked contracts to call the mixed-use development home.

In addition to the retail space, Imperial Market will contain 90k SF of Class-A office space and a 274-unit luxury multifamily complex developed by Sueba USA. The historic Char House on-site will be converted to a 185-room luxury boutique hotel after careful exterior renovation to restore the original historic grandeur.

The project is being designed by HOK and executed by Harvey Builders. Retail and office leasing will be handled by Transwestern.
