“We’re very excited about what this new development will bring to the Baytown community,” Baytown Community and Economic Development Manager Bret Gardella said in a release. “FedEx is a leader in logistics and transportation and having their presence in our city adds to our impressive array of Fortune 100 companies.”

Port 10 Logistics Center was delivered in 2018. The 3M SF warehouse and distribution space sits on 246 acres. As of now, more than 500K SF is leased, while 1M SF of new space is in development. A new 400-car rail yard is also in the works.

“This development is a milestone project, not just for Port 10 Logistics Center and Pontikes Development, but also for the City of Baytown,” Pontikes Development Vice President of Construction and Design Nick Pontikes said in the release.

“With hundreds of parking spots, this is going to be a facility that creates jobs and benefits the community, including the citizens and workers of Baytown and its economy."
