Hines, with $600M to drop on logistics real estate, is gearing up a business park that could bring 2.2M SF of distribution space to Katy.

It is joint venturing with Katy Partners to build a 150-acre business park at the northwest corner of Interstate 10 and Igloo Road, smack dab between Amazon and Igloo's distribution centers.

Pintail Crossing business park could be built out to 2.2M SF; Boyd Commercial's Andy Sowell and Bo Pettit are looking for build-to-suit opportunities ranging from 100K SF to 1.2M SF for distribution facilities serving Houston, San Antonio and Austin.

“Over the past several years we have seen the far west I-10 corridor emerge as a vibrant logistics submarket, with some of the largest user footprints in the Houston MSA locating there,” Hines Managing Director Charlie Meyer said.
