NorthPoint Development LLC acquired 190 acres at Highway 90 and Uvalde Road in Houston. This represents the largest industrial land transaction of 2019 to date, according to NAI Partners.

The company plans to develop a 2.5M SF industrial park dubbed NorthPoint 90 Logistics Center. The park will feature seven buildings.

Colliers International’s Blake Gibson and Ryan Byrd represented NorthPoint Development. NAI Partners’ Michael Keegan represented the seller, Sowell Equities-Forestwood L.P.

“At the end of the day, we were incredibly pleased to be able to find an outstanding buyer for these 190 acres that will help continue to bolster Houston’s rapidly growing and dynamic distribution sector by transforming the land into a state-of-the-art industrial park,” Sowell Equities principal Jamie Cornelius said in a release.

Colliers International’s Blake Gibson and Ryan Byrd will be responsible for leasing.
