Grand Parkway's First

Entrust is breaking the ice, developing and occupying the first office project in the Grand Parkway area of Fort Bend. We snapped NAI Houston principal Randy Wilhelm and Entrust COO Robyn Jacobson, who tell us Entrust started looking for space to expand three years ago. Robyn, who owns the firm with her hubby, liked the 99 corridor because 90% of employees live in Katy. It was a pioneering decision but a short time later, the area is exploding and demand is tight. The firm brought on The Mission Cos to develop a 32k SF building, and itll occupy 75%. NAIs Sam Hansen is marketing the remaining 10k SF, and Randy expects itll go to a professional user like a title company or bank.

Ziegler Cooper designed the building which will sit at the corner of Westpark and 99 (thats some great visibility) when it completes in August. Entrust also owns two acres adjacent, and Robyn tells us theyre thinking of building another office facility there. Its pre-designed,but to pull the trigger, theyd either need to expand enough themselves to require it or would need a lead tenant.
