Generation Park is on the Map

Going to Generation Park will be easier now. Here’s McCord Development prez Ryan McCord posing with the sign that now graces Beltway 8. He tells us it took a couple of years and quite a bit of effort from the City, TxDOT, and HCTRA. Even cooler, Google Maps is updated to include the new name.

Here it is in action. (Nobody is parked on the shoulder looking confused, so we'll assume it's working.) Ryan says McCord has also broken ground on the $17M expansion of North Lake Houston Parkway. Over three miles of the road is being expanded to a four-lane boulevard major thoroughfare with sidewalks to improve access for the park’s industrial users. And he tells us we can expect an even larger infrastructure investment announcement in 90 days.
