CORE Real Estate Digs Houston
In his real estate development career (part of it at Transwestern), CORE partner and co-founder Mike Wyatt has developed about 5M SF of office and industrial space. Yet the story is just beginning. 2012 proved to be an amazing year for the development firm, first by selling Plaza at Enclave (home of Dow Chemicals) in the Energy Corridor. There are also 32 acres that the company is developing in the heart of the sizzling submarket. This year, CORE is closing on the final 18 of 32 acres in the same area. Most, if not all, will be office. Mike says the original CORE plan was not to work exclusively in Houston, but demand there is so raging that it's happily keeping a growing, local workload.
