The Woodlands has had two record-breaking years in a row, and The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership CEO Gil Staley (here with fellow Tomball Economic Development Corp executive director Kelly Violette at SMPS' January luncheon) says 2014 will be even better. (We're spending way too much money replacing all these record books, so maybe we should just digitize the whole thing.) In 2012, he responded to 12 RFPs, a new peak. In 2013, he had 24 RFPs, which could bring 4,800 new jobs to the area. Over the last year, the EDP has announced or completed projects totaling 654k SF and 1,850 jobs.
