Wed like to extend a huge Happy Mothers Day to Donna Kolius, who shares a special bond with her son Pierce Owensthey lead CBREs portfolio services group together. (We could only do that with our mom if she promised not to criticize our posture.) The duo has teamed up on the national disposition of 2,819 properties totaling $3.4B for firms like Shell, Walmart, and YUM! Brands. Donna dished out some motherly advice: Buy net-leased properties. Investor interest in that sector is growing steadily, thanks to high returns compared with stocks, bonds, and mortgage investments.
