Aliyah is Chief Capital Officer and has oversight of equity capital investor relations, debt capital finance strategy, marketing and communications and talent development.

Prior to joining KingSett, Aliyah spent over 16 years in Investment Banking at TD Securities, most recently as Managing Director, Real Estate, where she advised clients on a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, initial public offerings and equity and debt, public and private offerings.

Aliyah holds an MBA, with distinction, from Western University’s Ivey School of Business and an BSc in Neuroscience from Dalhousie University.

Mr. Turnbull joined the firm in 2020 and is the Head of Canadian Transactions and Business Development. As Head of Canadian Transactions, Mr. Turnbull is responsible for sourcing Canadian transactions and forming/developing joint venture relationships across the country. In addition, Mr. Turnbull is responsible for developing Canadian focused business strategies, leveraging local expertise/relationships and Harrison Street’s global capabilities into new targeted product offerings for our global and Canadian investors.

Prior to joining Harrison Street, Mr. Turnbull was a Managing Partner of Alignvest Student Housing and Canadian Student Living Group where he oversaw the development, launch and execution of a dedicated Canadian student housing fund which grew to become the largest owner/operator of student housing in the country. He was responsible for the fund, including transaction sourcing, diligence, financing, property/asset management, investor relations and operations. Prior to Alignvest Student Housing, Mr. Turnbull was the CEO of the first SPAC ever in Canada, Dundee Acquisition Ltd., and the head of Dundee Private Equity which targeted investments in Canadian real assets.

Mr. Turnbull received his HBA in Business Administration at the Richard Ivey School, Western University in London, Ontario.

Prakash David is the Executive Vice President, National Investments and Development. Prakash has 20 years’ experience in real estate, including heading up development of a three billion dollar project comprising 1 million square feet of class ‘A’ office, 400,000 square feet of enclosed retail, and 430 condominium apartments. He holds a Masters in Business (Ivey), a law degree (Osgoode Hall), and a B.A. in Politics.

Aly leads the real estate investment business at Forum.

He brings exceptional experience as a real estate investor, operator, developer, and institutional asset manager of value added and opportunistic real estate investments. Throughout his career, Aly has executed on principal investments valued over $3 billion, arranged debt financings of over $500 million, and secured over 300 leases that resulted in net operating income of over $40 million.

Jeff Appleby joined CIBC in 2002. Mr. Appleby is responsible for the origination and execution of a variety of real estate investment banking transactions including IPOs, equity and debt offerings, M&A and financial advisory work. Throughout his time at the firm, he has worked on hundreds of public equity and debt offerings raising billions of dollars for real estate issuers and has worked on M&A advisory assignments totaling $20B. Mr. Appleby currently sits on the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto.

Stuart Smith is the General Manager of the Turner Toronto head office. With over 20 years of AEC industry experience, he has worked with numerous project teams, owners, consultants, and clients. Stuart provides executive-level leadership and management on projects of various market segments, including commercial buildings, institutional facilities, data centres and industrial spaces. He is a strong communicator and a problem solver who supervises risk evaluation, contract negotiations and pricing decisions. Stuart’s career with Turner began in 2013 as the Business Development Manager. He became the Special Projects Division Business Manager in 2016 and General Manager in 2019. During this time, he has collaborated with various departments to ensure safety, ethical and compliance requirements are met on every project.

Tom is our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He was formerly Senior Vice President, Retail at DTZ Barnicke, as well as a member of DTZ's Global Management Committee. During his 30 year career, Tom has distinguished himself in the areas of commercial leasing, operations and development. He is a Business Administration graduate of Algonquin College specializing in Real Estate.

Olesy takes a client focused approach with over 15 years of Global Client Management experience, she is a strategic thinker, data driven marketer and global people leader working with over 100 most recognizable global brands across retail, aviation, hotel and banking sectors supporting global expansion efforts into the Middle East, APAC, and LATAM regions and helping European brands expand into the North American Market. She is an avid nature lover and sports enthusiast and loves to explore remote parts of the world with her family.

Based in HOK’s Toronto studio, Kristina helps lead HOK’s Canadian interiors practice. She has designed more than 900,000 square feet of innovative, agile space that encourages collaboration and inspires productivity. Kristina has a passion for design excellence, and her interiors projects have been honored by CoreNet Global and Interior Designers of Canada.

Gregory leads Manulife Investment Management’s real estate investment team in Canada. He's responsible for executing the investment strategy for both its general account and third-party clients, which include all aspects of investment management such as origination, underwriting, structuring, and negotiation of transaction documents in support of real property acquisitions, dispositions, and development activity in Canada.

Since joining the company in 2011, Gregory has completed investment transactions across all property types and regions. In addition, he's participated in several strategic corporate initiatives, including the development and launch of Manulife’s inaugural Canadian commercial real estate pooled fund and real estate due diligence in support of Manulife’s acquisition of Standard Life’s Canadian operations.

Team, Charlie oversees all leasing efforts within IC’s portfolio of Office & Life Science assets across

North America. He has a particular focus on & fascination for the conceptualization, design, customer-

experience and ultimately, the lease-up of world-class & magnetic commercial real estate.

Charlie’s nearly 20 year career as a commercial real estate professional spans various world-class

markets including: Toronto, Hong Kong and New York City.

He is a graduate of McGill University with a MSc in Real Estate Development from Columbia

University.

Charlie currently sits on both the NAIOP Corporate Board of Directors (as a Member At Large); and is

the co-Chair of the Eva’s Golf Classic - raising funds & awareness to benefit homeless and at-risk

youth in the Greater Toronto Area. He is a past member of the Board of Directors for NAIOP Greater

Toronto and the Canadian Leadership Council for CoreNet Global.

Since 1995 Robert has led over 1,000 searches across the North American real estate industry. Robert holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario, an MBA from the University of Toronto and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. He is a trustee of NorthWest Healthcare Properties REIT where he chairs the Compensation and Governance Committee Recognized as an industry expert, Robert has made presentations across North America including Harvard’s Real Estate Academic Initiative, NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate, Columbia’s Masters in Real Estate Program and Wharton’s Real Estate Alumni.
