South Florida Office Update

Justin joined Cain International in 2019 and is responsible for overseeing Cain’s Miami portfolio, which includes 830 Brickell, Missoni Baia and Una Residences. Cain also owns two additional large-scale development sites in South Florida and is involved in the redevelopment of the historic Delano Hotel in South Beach. Cain is a London-headquartered real estate investment firm with over $10 billion in assets under management with equity and debt investments in gateway cities in the U.S. and Western Europe. Throughout his career, Justin has worked on over $8 billion of real estate transactions. Justin joined Cain from Imperial Companies, where he was responsible for sourcing and executing new transactions with a focus on new development or substantial redevelopment. Prior to that, Justin spent nearly five years at Savanna Real Estate Fund, a New York City focused owner, operator and developer. Justin started his real estate career at Eastdil Secured. Justin holds a Master of Commerce from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in economics from Boston College. Justin is actively involved in the Advisory Board for the Master of Real Estate Development + Urbanism program at University of Miami’s School of Architecture and is a member of PropTech Angels, a group of real estate professionals that invests in early-stage real estate tech companies.

John Osborne is responsible for asset management and joint venture relationships for CP Group’s South Florida portfolio, which currently totals 5.8mm square feet. His focus is on repositioning, leasing, and disposition strategies for the South Florida portfolio. Since joining the organization in 2007, Mr. Osborne has held positions in both acquisitions and asset management and has been directly involved in over $1 billion of transactions. Mr. Osborne obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Florida.

Adam is the Vice President of Sales for Vari, the workspace innovation company that offers flexible furniture solutions to create workspaces that elevate people. As Vice President of Sales, Adam leads the national business development team with a primary focus on commercial real estate and strategic partnerships. Adam joined Vari in July 2018 and has quickly proven his value as a leader in this sector. With his experience in commercial real estate and relationship building, Adam has helped launch Vari into 15 markets across the United States. His knack for building highly effective teams started with his experience in the United States Marine Corps and it carried into his 12-year stint in the communications industry. Prior to joining Vari, Adam spent time in managed services, building international sales and business development teams. Today, in his spare time, Adam loves traveling to play golf with his dad and enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.

Jorge Bernal is a Design Director and Workplace Leader at Gensler Miami. He brings more than 20 years of experience in designing innovative spaces for professional services, tech, creative office, and financial services clients. Jorge is recognized for his ability to create inspired design strategies that are tailored to support each client’s vision and business objectives. His’s approach provides long-lasting value to his clients including Telemundo, City National Bank, HealthSun, Pasteur Medical Center, Coca-Cola, Master Card, and AutoNation. Jorge holds a B.S. from Florida International University and a M.Arch from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Stacy Connell leads Technogym sales in the Southeast for health, corporate and performance. Stacy brings 20 years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry as a nationally recognized health, wellbeing, and recreation expert, speaker, and consultant from her work in the higher education and corporate wellness settings. Stacy’s holistic approach to health and wellbeing is as multifaceted as her experience. As a consultant, Stacy supported her clients through strategic planning, wellbeing strategy and framework development, built and natural environment design, benefits design and product development. She has had points of pride in her career such as authoring the NC State university-wide wellness strategy and leading a newly expanded health promotion department as Georgia Tech’s first Senior Director of Health Initiatives, with responsibility for leading and developing a holistic approach of health and well-being serving 32,000 students and 10,000 employees. Stacy has also served in campus recreation roles focused on fitness and wellness at the University of Georgia and Texas Christian University. Throughout her career, Stacy has harnessed her passion for biophilic design and the built and natural environments by serving as a key member of small- and large-scale facility and landscape projects. Projects range from fitness studio renovations to large scale construction projects including the Kandeda Building for Sustainable Design, Georgia Tech Campus Center Renovation and Expansion, and the Carmichael Wellness and Recreation Center Renovation and Expansion. Stacy proudly served as the co-chair for NIRSA’s inaugural Health and Wellbeing Task Force. She now serves on the Wellbeing Advisory Council for the American Cancer Society, Partnership for a Healthier America and the Jed Foundation. Stacy has held previous board roles with National Consortium for Building Healthy Academic Communities and is involved in the American College Health Association, the Health Enhancement Research Organization, the National Wellness Institute and NASPA: Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. Stacy has been featured and contributed to various publications including NASPA Leadership Exchange, NIRSA Know, and Campus Rec Magazine. She has also been invited to share and contribute her best practices with others. Stacy has given over 30 conference presentations and speaking engagements related to population health, wellbeing, campus recreation and employee wellness. Stacy received Bachelors’ Degrees in Exercise Physiology- Fitness & Nutrition and Biological Science from Florida State University and a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Georgia. She also holds many fitness and wellness credentials including certified wellness practitioner, certified health coach, registered yoga teacher, certified strength and conditioning specialist, personal trainer and fitness instructor. Additionally, Stacy has continued to expand her knowledge through intensive leadership programs, diversity and inclusion trainings, and skill-based education in motivational interviewing, improvement science, and design thinking. ​ Stacy lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband and their three children, Mason, Logan, and Piper. Stacy enjoys unwinding with family hikes, working out, and good wine with great company.

​​Arnaud Karsenti is the Managing Principal of 13th Floor Investments where his core focus is on management and growth of the firm. Mr. Karsenti is primarily responsible for the general direction of the firm’s investment strategy and overall capitalization. In this capacity, Mr. Karsenti’s role is one of new business origination, deal structuring, and investor relations. Mr. Karsenti has been active in the real estate business since 2003 when he began his real estate career assembling and developing land parcels in Miami’s urban cores. These initial one-off acquisitions led to the creation of 13th Floor in 2007, which has acquired, developed and managed over $1.5 billion in real asset value since inception. These transactions have ranged from property acquisitions to restructuring of distressed debt, fractured residential inventory, community district development bonds, and a host of joint venture structures. Prior to founding 13th Floor, Mr. Karsenti founded Collegeboxes, the nation’s leading college-based shipping and storage companies, which was acquired by U-Haul in 2004. Mr. Karsenti is an active member of the Young President’s Organization, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, and a variety of other local and national philanthropic organizations. Mr. Karsenti graduated cum laude from the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and holds an MBA from the Harvard School of Business.

Todd Rosenberg is co-founder and managing principal of Pebb Capital, a diversified, multi-strategy real estate and investment firm. Rosenberg oversees the strategic development of the company’s ventures and guides high-level endeavors from conceptualization to execution. As a member of a prominent South Florida real estate family, Rosenberg credits his intuitive approach to a close-knit upbringing surrounded by industry leaders. His extensive experience and innate entrepreneurial spirit have transformed Pebb Capital into a real estate investment force since its founding in 2014. The company has since aggregated a real estate development and capital investment portfolio valued at over $2 billion in student housing, retail, office, hospitality, multi-family, co-living, and parking, as well as lending and preferred equity ventures. Before helming Pebb Capital, Rosenberg was co-chief financial officer and in-house counsel for Pebb Enterprises, his family-operated business. He was previously a securities litigator at Fowler White Burnett and Homer Bonner & Delgado in Miami. Rosenberg holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communications from Syracuse University and a juris doctorate from Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in New York.

With over a decade of construction and insurance experience, Daniel has managed nearly $1 billion dollars worth of new construction, commercial and residential remodeling. In addition, Daniel has placed hundreds of insurance policies, serves as an expert witness in thousands of insurance disputes, and assisted community associations, business owners and homeowners recover from a wide variety of property and business income losses. He maintains a strong commitment to the community and serves on the BB&T Local Advisory Board and as Vice-Chairman of Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce.
