Annie Schneider’s practice focuses on litigation matters including business fraud, contractual disputes for various individuals and corporate entities, complex commercial cases, partnership disputes, and probate litigation matters. Her litigation experience includes matters involving wrongful death, complex torts, and general liability. Annie began her legal career in the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office where she gained extensive courtroom experience, trying dozens of misdemeanor and felony cases to verdict.

As a New York City native and former dancer, Annie is passionate about Miami’s emerging performing arts community. In addition to generally patronizing the arts, she is a Young Professional Member of the Miami City Ballet, supporting its mission to present the best of dance and dance education.  Annie utilizes and channels the great discipline and focus she obtained throughout her intensive artistic training to come up with creative solutions to legal disputes as well as to provide clients with zealous and efficient advocacy to achieve favorable results.

Roger Slade is an Equity Partner with the Miami law firm of Haber Law and is the Co-Chairmen of the Firm’s litigation department. Mr. Slade has been AV -rated by Martindale Hubbell and has been named as a Florida Super Lawyer for fourteen consecutive years.  
Mr. Slade started his career at two large New York City law firms but has been practicing law in Florida since 1994. He has handled all types of litigation matters with a particular emphasis on family business disputes (domestic and international), business partnership disputes, business fraud cases, and litigation involving real estate including condominium litigation, landlord -tenant litigation, and commercial foreclosure litigation.

Mr. Slade is an accomplished trial lawyer and has handled cases in both State and Federal Courts. He also successfully argued appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, Florida’s Second, Third, Fourth and Sixth Court of Appeals as well as the First Department of the New York County Supreme Court.

Mr. Slade was honored to serve as the President of the Miami-Dade Bar Association from 2023-2024. Mr. Slade is also a contributor to Litigation Magazine, a national publication of the American Bar Association as well as the Miami-Dade Bar Bulletin where he served for many years as Editor in Chief.

Nataly Gutierrez Vazquez is a shareholder in Becker’s Miami office and a member of the firm’s nationally recognized Condo, Co-Op & HOA practice. She serves as general and litigation counsel to condominium, cooperative, and homeowners’ associations throughout Florida, providing strategic legal representation that focuses on delivering practical solutions and clear, straightforward guidance. Her goal is to break down complex legal topics into understandable terms so her clients can make informed, confident decisions.

Ms. Vazquez is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Condominium & Planned Development Law, a distinction held by only 5% of Florida Bar attorney members. Board certification is the Florida Bar’s highest level of competence, professionalism, and expertise and requires peer review, ongoing education, and a rigorous exam. Her practice focuses on covenant enforcement, governance, dispute resolution, and day-to-day operational counsel, helping community associations navigate legal risks while maintaining effective operations.

She is also committed to mentoring the next generation of attorneys. She serves as an adjunct professor at St. Thomas University School of Law, where she teaches Florida Condominium Law. Her approach in the classroom mirrors her work with clients—focused on clarity, structure, and real-world application.

A native of Miami, Ms. Vazquez earned her B.A. in Political Science from Florida International University and her J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law. She began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the 11th Judicial Circuit in Miami, where she prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases and served as a County Training Attorney, mentoring new prosecutors through the litigation process.

Outside of her practice, Ms. Vazquez enjoys spending time with her family as a proud mom and, when time allows, baking, reading, and traveling.

Jose Baloyra provides counsel to condominium and homeowner associations and has been involved in all aspects of Community Association law. His work with these communities includes covenant enforcement, document review and drafting, analysis and review of bank loans and general guidance to boards and managers on the statutory and documentary guidelines for the ongoing administration of their association. Additionally, his areas of practice include advising investors, individuals, financial institutions, commercial banks, condominium associations, and developers on all aspects of residential and commercial real estate, including: residential real estate purchases and sales; commercial real estate purchases and sales; residential and commercial lease transactions; business entity creation including drafting of shareholder agreements and operating agreements; commercial lending, including the preparation of loan closing documentation; mortgage lending regulations; title insurance; formation of condominiums and planned unit developments; real property or community association related litigation, including contract disputes, construction defect/558 cases, mortgage foreclosure, declaratory actions and condominium/HOA lien foreclosures.

He was a “Fund 25” member of the Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund in 2004 and 2005, received the President’s Circle Award in 2007, and has been an active volunteer at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami. He also served from 2007-2014 as a Director of Pacific National Bank, N.A., a national banking association located in Miami, Florida with $400 million in assets, where he held the position of chairman of the Director’s Loan Committee. In addition, he is a licensed title insurance agent with Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.
