Why This Matters

Microsoft, Facebook, and now REI are all setting shop in Bellevue. With these tech giants coming to town, it's no surprise that Bellevue, and the Greater Puget Sound, is attracting developers left and right.

Adding to the buzz, about $2.3B is going into an eastbound extension of the Sound Transit, a light rail traveling from Downtown Seattle to Bellevue, and eventually to Downtown Redmond. The railway is said to open in 2023, quite literally forging a path to make the Eastside an open ecosystem of real estate opportunity.

What will become of the small, former flatland as the biggest tech companies in the world settle into town? Will developers be able to keep up with the needs of thousands of incoming employees? What shops, restaurants, and experiences will define the identity of this new submarket?

Join us for the first ever look into the future of the Sound Transit and the Eastside to learn what's to come!
