William joined Woodstock Development in 2012 and is responsible for managing new partner relationships and overseeing the leasing strategy for portfolio assets. He also works with the team to expand the firm’s portfolio and development pipeline through new acquisitions.

Prior to Woodstock, William spent nearly five years in the San Francisco Peninsula office of BT Commercial (now Cushman Wakefield) where he was a leasing broker focusing on occupier services. William holds a Bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University. While not in the office, he spends most of his time with his wife and two girls in the Presidio of San Francisco and Crissy Field.

Chase Rapp combines innovative thinking with a pragmatic touch to produce realistic blueprints and bona fide results. Growing up around construction and development sites inspired the Palo Alto native’s passion for real estate, architecture, and Class A commercial development. Earning a B.S. in Real Estate Development from NYU Shack Institute of Real Estate while working as a full-time licensed broker for Tungsten Properties in Manhattan solidified his expertise. After finishing up his time at NYU and Tungsten Properties, Chase headed back out west to work for the family business, Rapp Development, L.P. & Rapp Holdings, LLC. During his 3 years there, Chase was a project manager for 1706 El Camino Real (Menlo Park), and more recently, 261 Hamilton Ave (Palo Alto). When Chase isn’t executing highly successful development projects, his commitment to the Bay Area includes influential roles with the Boys and Girls Club, the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo, and both the Urban Land Institute and NAIOP (Bay Area Chapter). He also holds a certificate in Family Wealth Management from Columbia Business School. He currently resides in San Francisco, CA.

Mollie Ricker

Mollie is a Partner of Dostart Development Company (“DDC”), one of the Silicon

Valley’s premier commercial real estate developers known for its local expertise, for

its leadership in sustainability and transit-oriented design, and for the high quality of

its projects and tenants. During the past decade with DDC, Mollie has actively

managed nearly 1 million square feet of commercial office development and

investment in Silicon Valley. Her responsibilities include leading acquisitions,

managing city entitlements, directing leasing, construction, financing and asset

management.

Prior to joining DDC, Mollie was an investor with Francisco Partners, L.P., a

technology-focused private equity firm with $5.0 billion under management, where

she was involved in identifying, executing and managing investments across a variety

of sectors. Earlier in her career, Mollie worked in the Investment Banking Division of

Goldman Sachs.

Mollie is currently a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the national

ULI Industrial and Office Product Council as well as on the San Francisco Commercial

Local Product Council. She is also a member of NAIOP – Silicon Valley and Stanford

Professionals in Real Estate (SPIRE). Mollie also serves as treasurer on the Board of

Directors of The Representation Project.

Mollie received her M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and her B.A.

in Economics and Latin American Studies, with Distinction, from Yale University.

Ken serves as Project Executive for major residential development projects, overseeing feasibility, entitlements, financing, design, construction, marketing, and sell out/lease-up. He is a member of the Senior Management Team for the Residential Division.

Rob leads the firm’s initiatives in design, client satisfaction, new project acquisition and company culture. Channeling Rob’s entrepreneurial approach, brick has grown into a thriving 25 person team with $450m of current projects under construction ranging from commercial office, life science, housing and higher education.

Mark is a partner in the firm’s land use group. His practice emphasizes entitlements, due diligence, administrative compliance, and environmental law. Mark’s clients range from property owners looking to reuse or remodel existing buildings to investors performing diligence and institutional developers proposing mixed-use projects exceeding a million square feet.

Mark has experience throughout the Bay Area and Northern California. He regularly appears in front of decision makers, including San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission, Board of Appeals, and Zoning Administrator; the Oakland Planning Commission; the Berkeley City Council; the Daly City Planning Commission and City Council; the San Mateo Planning Commission and City Council; and state and federal courts.

Mark is an expert in local and state zoning laws and regulations, as well as the application of the California Environmental Quality Act to infill development projects. Along with appearing before local decision-making bodies, Mark provides strategic advice and counsel to property owners, project sponsors, investors and potential purchasers, and commercial tenants. Before joining Reuben, Junius & Rose, Mark practiced civil litigation, giving him unique insight into the transactional and entitlement pitfalls that lead to lawsuits and the importance of creating a robust administrative record.

Mark is an East Bay native and passionate about civic issues affecting San Francisco, the Bay Area, and California.

Doug’s goal is to help entrepreneurial scientists create successful startups. To this end, Doug and his colleagues have systematically lowered the barriers between great ideas and successful companies. For instance, Doug created and manages MBC BioLabs. This state-of-the-art co-working laboratory network in San Francisco and San Carlos allows entrepreneurs to rapidly generate data without getting bogged down in facility management. Rather than spending months getting a facility up and running, MBC BioLabs startups can generate important data in their first week.

In the first 8 years, this program has helped launch 245 companies that have brought 55 programs to the clinic and have raised over $10.5B. This incubator program reflects Doug’s passion for startups and his eagerness to help entrepreneurs overcome challenges.

Doug is also a Managing Partner at Mission BioCapital, which provides early-stage capital to the next generation of awesome life science entrepreneurs. Founded in 2009, Mission BioCapital is now investing out of their fifth fund.

Sara Andersen is Director of Real Estate Management, part of Workplace Effectiveness at Genentech, the organization responsible for ensuring the work environments support desired business outcomes for the business units at Genentech’s South San Francisco site and beyond.

Sara’s role at Genentech allows her to exercise her passion for providing healthy, sustainable, financially performing environments which allow people to do their best work. As a Real Estate and Financial services professional with more than 25 years of experience, she has focused on setting overall business strategy for her group, running business units, building relationships and developing cross functional teams.

Her engagement with Genentech began in 2012, through design (Perkins + Will) and program management (CBRE), which resulted in Genentech’s most successful building to date. The building is a success because of the emphasis on the social engagement of the employees, user friendly technology that allows a “work anywhere” philosophy, and a healthy and sustainable work environment. Her ongoing work focuses on using workplace to support business initiatives, measuring success in faster time to market vs. square foot per person..

Prior to joining Genentech as an employee, she led the CBRE Occupier Strategy team in San Francisco, translating client business objectives into real estate strategy, informing lease sizes, terms and execution. She led vision sessions with senior executives to align goals across business units, spearheaded the development of solution scenarios with client and brokerage partners and ensured successful project delivery through strategic planning, design process, budget and schedule management, and the integration of IT, HR and communications.

Prior to CBRE, Sara held positions as a Principal, Director of West Coast Interiors for Perkins + Will; Managing Director (Atlas Capital Strategies); and ran her own project management practice with clients such as SAP Labs and TD Waterhouse.

Sara is educated and licensed as an architect, her education includes a Masters in Architecture from Washington University with an undergraduate degree from Lehigh University in Architecture and Computer Science. She was honored as a Northern California Real Estate Woman of Influence by the San Francisco Business Times and has spoken at both CoreNet and NeoCon.

Steven Golubchik

Steven Golubchik is Vice Chairman and Head of Capital Markets with Newmark, and

leads the Office, Industrial and Life Science Capital Markets Practice Group for

Northern California. Previously he was a senior managing director and co-office head

for the San Francisco office of HFF, where he was responsible for managing the growth

of all the capital markets service lines throughout Northern California in conjunction with

overseeing the sale of institutional-grade investment property sales concentrating on

office, industrial and life science assets located throughout the western United States.

Steven has closed more than $25 billion in transactions encompassing more than 50

million square feet throughout the West Coast during his career.

Since joining McCarthy 8 years ago, Derek plays an instrumental role in overseeing McCarthy's design phase services, bringing unmatched commitment to developing strong teams, leading cost estimating and procurement efforts, and maintaining long-standing partner relationships. During his tenure, he has managed a variety of large commercial projects in all sectors, particularly in life sciences, higher education, and science & technology. He and his team are focused on developing innovative solutions to maximize value for clients. His strong leadership and mentoring skills have made Derek indispensable in his role. Derek has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mike Futrell began serving as City Manager of South San Francisco, California, in April 2014, bringing broad executive experience in local, state and federal government. He was Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; served on staff in the United States Senate; and was an elected member of the Louisiana House of Representatives and of the Baton Rouge City Council. He served as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy and rose to the rank of Navy Captain in the Navy Reserves. He previously practiced law with a private firm and was Executive Vice President of a public utility company in Hawaii.

Mike holds a bachelor's degree in Business/Public Administration and a Juris Doctorate degree from Louisiana State University, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and completed the Stanford Graduate School of Business Learn-Engage-Accelerate-Disrupt (LEAD) Certificate program in Corporate Innovation.
