Build Group - Build Group, privately owned SF based general contractor with self-perform capabilities has been building and renovating San Francisco for almost 20 years with other offices in Santa Clara, Los Angeles, Washington, and Idaho /// UC Berkeley Anchor House Student Housing Highrise: Build Group and BDE Architecture... 2024 Cemex Building Award – Collective Space /// Silicon Valley Structure Awarded 13-story adaptive reuse project, San Jose State University Spartan Student Housing: Build Group and Multistudio Architecture /// SF Restaurants like Miller & Lux: Build Group with MBH Architects: This full build-out showcases the power of location and brand-name real estate. This Tyler Florence-branded restaurant is located in the 11-acre plaza surrounding the Golden State Warrior’s new Chase Center. The goal was to modernize an old-school style steakhouse through high-end leather booths, a massive lobster & oyster tank, and quality design elements that Build Group brought to life on time and under budget /// Hog Island Oyster Company – Ferry Building. Build Group and CCS Architecture: Build Group renovated and expanded this restaurant space in the historic San Francisco Ferry Building to triple its capacity. Our team’s expertise was on full display, as there are many managerial challenges to building on an active dock. With over 130 seats, Hog Island’s upgraded location features a full-service kitchen and bar, custom concrete counters, and reclaimed cypress millwork throughout. The perfect finishing touch, designed by CCS Architecture, is the ceiling we installed replicating the hull of a boat /// Hotel project, The InterContinental Hotel San Francisco: Build Group with Kraido & Brayton Hughes Architects: Build Group worked on simultaneous projects in an operating hotel, including the renovation of 550 guest rooms including the two-story presidential suite, 22 meeting rooms, ballrooms, and corridors. These updates included structural preparation for a new canopy, conversion of a spa to more rooms, and the replacement of exterior glass on floors 1-6.
