Summary

An ageing population, newly insured patients and a changing lifestyle are encouraging healthcare systems to gear up to meet new demands. Patients don’t want to travel to a MOB, which may be close to a hospital but far from home, and then make further stops to get their imaging, lab work, or pharmacy services done. Convenient and cost-efficient out-patient facilities are high in demand.

Healthcare providers and developers have noticed the increased need to adapt to new styles of non-hospital facilities aimed at attracting patients, improving wellness and saving costs. MOB’s, expecting to take over 13% of the total office market by 2020, will have to use space effectively and integrate innovative designs to stay competitive in today's healthcare market. Come join Bisnow when we discuss new trends in inpatient and outpatient care delivery, the impact of consolidation, the “retalization of healthcare”, leasing and operations, real estate usages & strategy, and much more. As always, come early and stay late for plenty of coffee and ample networking time -- we'll see you there!
