Ethan Conrad began his commercial real estate career in 1989 when he became an industrial real estate broker. He quickly established himself as a trusted name in the industry, which led to his continued success and a variety of awards acknowledging his accomplishments. Once Ethan became adept at leasing and selling commercial properties, it was only a matter of time before he became a successful owner and operator of commercial real estate. In 1995, Ethan started by targeting industrial properties. By 2007, Ethan Conrad Properties owned over 35 commercial properties in the Greater Sacramento Area. Ethan’s brokerage experience lent him a keen eye for buying lower cost properties with high vacancies and/or other problems in which the budding real estate mogul saw potential opportunity. Ethan solved these problems with his trademark efficiency and business savvy. When Ethan isn’t hard at work at the office, he enjoys fine dining, Sacramento nightlife, hiking, and traveling.

Tim Schaedler serves as a partner with Panattoni Development Company, one of the largest private industrial real estate development companies in the United States and Europe. Tim is responsible for the company’s development operations and investment decisions in the Northern California and Nevada markets. As partner, Tim oversees all aspects of development of office, industrial and retail projects as well as the supervision of staff personnel in three offices within the region. He manages underwriting investments, due diligence, arranging financing, development entitlements, architectural design, construction budgets, lease negotiations and dispositions. Tim has more than 23 years of experience in land entitlement, development, construction and leasing of office and industrial projects. Over the past two decades, Tim has developed more than $1.5 billion of speculative and build to suit projects for Santa Clara County, Sacramento County, Nationwide Insurance, San Joaquin County, Berlin Packaging, Southern Wine and Spirits, Amazon, Dignity Health, BMW, Volvo, FedEx, JFC International, Loomis Armored, Facebook, Allogene Therapeutics, McKesson Corporation, Home Depot and Restaurant Depot. In addition to his role at Panattoni, Tim serves on the Board of Directors for NAIOP, Sacramento Central Valley. Currently in Northern California, Southern Nevada and Northern Nevada, Panattoni Development Company has more than ten million square feet planned on more than 600 acres with a value of over $1.5 billion.

Troels serves as Senior Vice President of Economic Development with a focus on foreign direct investment and support of the region’s burgeoning mobility ecosystem. He has more than a decade’s worth of experience in major markets. Prior to joining the Greater Sacramento Economic Council, Troels led the Business & Industry Team at Prosper Portland, the economic development agency for the City of Portland, Oregon. In this role, he strategically repositioned the team to serve the City of Portland’s key industry clusters with a strong inclusion lens and reenergized the city’s international trade efforts. During his three-year tenure, the Business & Industry team supported the creation of 4,400 net new jobs. Prior to his time in Portland, Troels spent time at the Metro Atlanta Chamber, where he led the Atlanta region’s work in developing its globally competitive supply chain and mobility ecosystems. He launched his economic development career at Partnership Gwinnett, focusing on European FDI and advanced manufacturing.

A graduate of Cal Poly University, San Luis Obispo, David formed McCullough Landscape Architecture as a sole proprietorship in 1999 while consulting for another firm. After wife and partner, Catherine joined the business in 2001 and became Chief Executive Officer and President in 2002; the firm became a woman-owned corporation and a certified Small Business by the State of California. With offices in San Diego and the Bay Area, McCullough creates spaces for hospitality, retail, mixed-use and institutional properties around the world. As principal landscape architect, David oversees all aspects of the design and production of firm projects at McCullough. He serves as head designer on all projects and maintains quality control on all work completed. Previous projects have earned awards and recognition in several national publications. David finds time in his schedule to take leadership in creative organizations such as the the San Diego Architecture Foundation (SDAF) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA) local Urban Design Committee. He currently serves as Chair of the Pecha Kucha Night program, which is on its sixth successful year. He finds it inspiring to take part in such a diverse mix of creative minds while bringing them together to share with the public their wild ideas. In addition, recently David was appointed by San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer to serve on the Historical Resources Board as Chair, which governs the identification, protection, retention and preservation of historical sites in San Diego. Concurrently, he has been invited to serve on the city’s Code Monitoring Team (CMT). David’s design philosophy is centered around merging context and creative passion with grit, soul, and style. The firm takes every project with a uniquely creative approach that centers around diversity, discovery and conservation. David feels it’s important to engage the human spirit with nature, while expressing empathy. Recent projects include a large waterfront development in Shanghai, China, Seaport San Diego redevelopment, several multifamily projects in Calgary and Vancouver, along with other notable hospitality, entertainment, and mixed-use collaborations in the Western US and Canada.

Mark serves as the Sacramento leader of the firm’s real estate industry group. He has more than 30 years of experience with various aspects of tax consulting, compliance and general strategic planning. Mark started his career with one of the “Big Eight” accounting firms and spent over 15 years working with a variety of clients on many different transactions before joining CLA. Mark frequently writes, speaks, and instructs on industry-specific topics. For several years, he hosted a weekly business talk show, which gave him the opportunity to learn from many local and regional business leaders.

Mr. Fathy is a Managing Partner of Sutter Capital Group and Director of Capital Markets. Burke joined the firm in 2011 to help grow the firm’s investment management business and leads the direction and execution of Sutter’s investment activity. Prior to joining the Sutter Capital Group, Mr. Fathy was a Fund Manager in Aviva Investors’ Global Real Estate Multi-Manager Group in New York and London. While at Aviva, Burke’s responsibilities included investment analysis and execution, asset management and ultimately responsibility for portfolio construction and management of an $850 million discretionary global separate account, the Group’s largest client. During his tenor at Aviva Investors and its predecessor firm Madison Harbor Capital, Burke sourced, underwrote and closed $180 million of invested capital spanning a wide range of property types and investment strategies. Prior to joining Aviva Investors Burke was an Associate in the Capital Markets Group of GVA Williams in New York where he was responsible for transactional due diligence and valuation of commercial property dispositions in excess of $500 million. Burke holds a an M.S. in Real Estate Finance from New York University and a B.A. in Urban Studies and Planning from the University of California, San Diego.

Trisha Malone leads the company’s investments in new and existing projects, manages the financial operations of Anton DevCo and is chair of the Executive Committee. She is responsible for investment and financial strategies including property acquisitions, dispositions and capital raises and has executed the repositioning of 5,500 units in Anton’s portfolio. Since joining the Anton team in 2000 she has structured over $3.0B of debt and equity for new development projects and the repositioning of existing assets through GSEs, banks, cities, local agencies, individuals and institutions. Malone also has a long history working with the intricacies of affordable housing bond financing for mixed-income (80/20) and fully affordable apartment housing. Malone began her career in public accounting where she gained experience in both tax and audit with a focus on real estate and non-profit clients.

Charanjeet (Charlie) Kaur Tiwana joined New Faze Development in 2014 as strategic advisor in project development. It was clear that Charlie’s inspiring character to confidently connect with others while quickly navigating through the dynamics of real estate development, strategy, and acquisition were easily recognized as leadership skills which bore quick recognition at New Faze Development. Today she leads the company as the Vice President of Strategic Investments. Charlie advances complex multi-use, commercial, and residential development projects. She has successfully helped to secure a number of equity and debt capital raises on key projects and is responsible for communicating the companies’ objectives and strategies to capital sources through investment strategy execution. Charlie coordinates and oversees the company’s community outreach efforts and volunteers her time by giving back to the community through numerous non-profit efforts. Her leadership builds confidence in those she works with and reinforces the heart and mission of New Faze Development’s vision. She currently works directly with the CEO to develop and implement companywide strategic investment initiatives. She is responsible for leading acquisitions, land entitlements, project development, and sales and financing. Charlie oversees development projects from the initial conceptual design through construction completion. Prior to joining New Faze Development, Charlie spent 2 years in New York City gaining executive level managerial experience where she successfully mobilized and managed a team of over 40 employees in the service and sales industry. Her journey brought her back to her Californian roots to share her passion and vision for relationship building at New Faze Development. To those close to Charlie she is known as a visionary to the soul. She loves engaging with others whether social or business and this positive energy paves the way to create group synergy in pursuing collective goals. Growing up in a rural area developed an openness to exploring, discovery, and is still the center of who she is today. Charlie draws from her Grandfather’s love of laughter which he shared so generously with everyone around him. She learned vigilance and curiosity from growing up in a farming community where hard work, self reliance and caring for your neighbors is a natural part of life. In her free time she turns to her passion of hiking, cycling, and yoga which emanates from her love and gratitude for nature. A native Californian, Charlie received her BA in Political Science and Minor in History from the University of California Merced and attended the University of California Berkeley.

Robert has 40+ years’ experience in a wide range of project types including residential, office, commercial, industrial, research laboratory, educational, recreational, and historic preservation/ adaptive re-use. A Davis resident, Robert has designed and directed the completion of a variety of projects in the Sacramento Region including The Block apartments in the Bridge District of West Sacramento, Sacramento Natural Foods Coop Market & Parking Structure, Curtis Park Court Senior Housing, La Valentina North Family Housing and Ping Yuen Senior Housing. Currently he is in design on several affordable, market rate and student housing projects in Davis, Woodland, South Lake Tahoe and Dollar Point, North Lake Tahoe, expanding Studio T-Square’s presence in the region and continuing the firm’s commitment to place-making and community-responsive, sustainable development. Studio T-Square brings expertise in large scale master planning/urban design, transit oriented and mixed-use development while leveraging practical experience in the state density bonus process. With nearly 20 in-fill projects completed in the City of Davis, Robert and Studio T-Square are actively working with clients and city planning to carry out the vision for the recently approved form-based code in Downtown Davis, providing much-need housing within a vibrant, emerging urban context.

Beth Young is a Vice President at HGA and the Principal Architect of the Public Corporate Studio and Office Director for the Sacramento Office. She holds a bachelor’s degree of architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and has 20 years of experience in the A/E/C industry. She has worked with forward thinking clients such as the State of California Department of General Services and Sutter Health. She is an advocate for collaborative project delivery and is a certified professional through the Design Build Institute of America. She is passionate about sustainability and is a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction. Her design solutions are rooted in research to help achieve her client’s goals and she is certified in Evidence Based Design. Beth is a proponent of collaborative leadership and invites differing viewpoints and appreciates team members challenging each other to do their best work. She has completed award winning projects in government, healthcare, community, corporate and workplace environments and was recently recognized by CREW for Women in Leadership.
