Why This Matters:
The Triangle’s housing market continues to see increasing demand for attainable housing as the population growth, while cooling, continues. It is anticipated that the state will have a 764,000 unit gap by 2029. Public efforts are ramping up to help address this growing need, but more will be needed to help address current shortages. This event will address the creative strategies being utilized in subsidized, as well as privately financed housing, as the region looks to provide sufficient, quality housing options for area residents.
