As a principal of DJM, Lindsay Parton directs Southern California property acquisitions and oversees all development and construction activities for the company.

Parton leads DJM's highly skilled staff responsible for property entitlements, governmental and community relations, architectural and land planning, construction management, and positioning of ground-up and redevelopment properties.

With more than 30 years in construction development, he was founder and chairman of Parton & Edwards Construction, a Santa Barbara company that has developed a broad range of residential, commercial, institutional and public works projects in excess of $300 million in value.

With a fine-tuned antennae to consumers' ever-changing tastes and keen retail acumen, Parton brings a market sensitivity and mastery of all phases of development in the highly competitive, Southern California real estate environment.

He holds a B.A. in Economics from Westmont College in Santa Barbara.

Jim Madrid is the Executive Vice President, Office Leader for the Newport Beach office of McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., serving Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. He has overall responsibility for delivering McCarthy’s offerings including Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Parking markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from California State University, Long Beach.

Jim joined McCarthy in 2009 as Director of Business Development and has more than 38 years of operations and business development experience for the construction industry including management for industrial, transportation, commercial, advanced technology, life sciences and energy projects. Prior to assuming his current role, he was responsible for leading McCarthy’s Southern California region’s Business Development and Marketing team developing business and maintaining relationships with clients, architects, and trade partners.

Carrie is CEO of The Nikols Company, which is Manager of Nikols Mortgage Fund, LLC, a private commercial real estate construction & bridge lender providing $5-40 million loans on California properties. She directly leads all loan originations and structuring, and oversees closings, loan servicing and loan payoffs. She has led Nikols Mortgage Fund since 2008, closing over $1.3 billion of loan commitments. Carrie’s commercial real estate experience, which spans more than four decades, ranges from institutional permanent lending and large balance bridge loans to smaller bank and private money construction and tailored transactions. As the top producing Region Manager for DaimlerChrysler Capital Services, Carrie originated and was responsible for a portfolio of $10 to $75 million highly leveraged commercial property bridge loans, all handled as agreed with no defaults. She has also pioneered various loan structures and product types including mezzanine loans, tax-exempt bond letter of credit enhancements with taxable tails, assisted living facilities, self-storage facilities and single-tenant biotech properties. Carrie has also written approximately 50 income property and residential subdivision appraisals as a state certified appraiser and MAI candidate. She holds a California Real Estate Sales license and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration-Real Estate Finance.

Bill Shopoff has more than forty (40) years of real estate and investment experience. His expertise includes the acquisition, development, and sale of new and redeveloped residential and commercial properties throughout the United States, as well as partnership structure, debt placement, venture capital and investment underwriting. Mr. Shopoff has acquired over 1,000 properties on behalf of his various entities, including the acquisition of over 6,000 apartment units (fee or mortgage loans), the entitlement of over 20,000 lots/units of land suitable for single-family or multi-family development, as well as millions of square feet of commercial projects. Additionally, the firm has undertaken numerous development projects, with current developments underway including high cube logistics buildings, apartments, luxury condominiums and single-family build to rent product.

For over 30 years, Mr. Shopoff has led Shopoff Realty Investments and its predecessor firms. Since 1992, he has served as either Principal or as President of the Asset Recovery Fund, and since August 1999, as the President of Eastbridge Partners, L.P. Upon acquiring the assets of Eastbridge Partners, L.P. in April 2004, Mr. Shopoff created the manager, Shopoff Realty Investments, L.P., and has served as its President since that time. Bill Shopoff also stands as Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder of Vertimass, LLC since 2012 and holds security licenses: Series 22, 24, 39, 62, 63, 79TO.

Involved in a number of industry associations, Mr. Shopoff is currently a member of Commercial Investment Real Estate and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Building Industry Association as well as Lambda Alpha International (LAI), a global land economics society. Mr. Shopoff also stands as Investment Committee member for LCAD (Laguna College of Art + Design) and board member for The Park Club professional network of Orange County.

Mr. Shopoff is also involved in various collegiate councils, being named to the Executive Council of the Real Estate Center at The University of Texas McCombs School of Business. This Executive Council advises faculty and staff on curriculum matters within the University’s real estate department. He is also a member of the University of California Irvine-Chief Executive Roundtable (UCI CERT), which works in concert with local business leaders and university faculty.

In addition to his industry and educational board involvement, Mr. Shopoff is also involved in various nonprofit foundations, including his former roles as President of the Board of Directors for the Central Coast Wine Classic Foundation, and as a board member of Global Energy Network International (GENI), a non-profit organization based in San Diego, California. Furthermore, Mr. Shopoff has also been the top fundraiser for the past 20 years for the AIDS LifeCycle, a 585-mile bicycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, which supports the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

Mr. Shopoff is a frequent speaker on various real estate and investment related topics. He has been invited to participate as a key panelist and a guest speaker on professional panels at real estate conferences and industry events throughout the United States. He holds many awards and accreditations including nomination for the Orange County Business Journal’s 2023 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award.

RC’s passion for architecture and real estate has served him well as he has lead the AO Multifamily and Mixed-Use studios for over 23 years. RC’s approach is hands-on from conceptual design to final construction documents. He remains highly involved in each and every project, maintains frequent communication with clients, and delivers a fine balance of high-caliber design, technical precision and economics.

Shopoff Realty Investments - Westminster Mall Redevelopment: Shopoff purchased two parcels totaling 26 acres of the Westminster Mall, in 2022, including the current Macy’s building, and former Sears buildings along with adjacent parking lots. In November 2022 the city of Westminster approved a general plan amendment, Specific Plan and Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the entire Westminster Mall site, which allows up to 2,550 units on the property. Shopoff is currently working with the City to process entitlements for a mixed-use development.

Shopoff Realty Investments - Parkhouse Residences at Uptown Newport: Currently under construction, Parkhouse Residences at Uptown Newport is a 30-unit, boutique luxury condominium project located on 1.5 acres within Shopoff’s Uptown Newport Master Plan Development in Newport Beach, California. Featuring half-floor residences and two-story penthouses, each home has been thoughtfully designed by internationally renowned, Blackband Design to emphasize casual sophistication and connection to its Southern California surroundings. Tucked away in a private enclave with ease of access to the best of Newport Beach, the currently for-sale, condominium units start from the $2 Millions.

Shopoff Realty Investments - Euclid Strawberry Farm, Fountain Valley: Shopoff acquired 18.6 acres of vacant land, a former strawberry farm, in December 2021. The city of Fountain Valley is in the process of updating its General Plan, which includes rezoning the project site along with several other properties within the city to allow for additional housing opportunities to meet California's housing requirements. The City’s Housing Element was approved in October 2022 by California’s Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), and Shopoff is working to secure entitlements.

Shopoff Realty Investments - The Pines at Sunrise Village, Fullerton: Shopoff recently secured entitlements for The Pines at Sunrise Village, which includes 49 detached single-family homes, and 64 townhome units. In addition, there are three commercial parcels on the property totaling 2.59 acres. The property is located in the prestigious Sunny Hills neighborhood in Fullerton, CA.  The newly developed homes will replace an aging and largely vacant retail center on the corner of Rosecrans Avenue and North Euclid St.
