Mr. Cook is the Managing Partner of Sancerra (https://www.sancerra.com) – a Newport Beach,

CA-based boutique development and investment firm focusing on the creation of institutional-

quality, sustainable build-for-rent, for sale, apartment, and mixed-use communities across

California.

Prior to co-founding Sancerra, Mr. Cook spent 7 years with Irvine Company – most recently as

Head of Acquisitions & Dispositions. Serving on the company’s extended operating

management committee, he was responsible for acquisitions, dispositions, due diligence,

development planning, market research, and analytics across the company’s apartment and

commercial product lines. During Mr. Cook's tenure with the company, he managed the

acquisition or disposition of 24 projects including 2,700+ residential units and 1.8M SF of

commercial space with capitalizations exceeding $2.2 billion. Before Irvine Company, Mr. Cook

held leadership positions with Integral Communities, MBK Homes, Larwin Company, and Bank

of America.

Mr. Cook received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of

North Carolina, and his Master of Real Estate Development (graduating with academic honors)

from the University of Southern California. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of

USC’s Lusk Center for Real Estate and previous taught as an adjunct professor in USC’s

graduate real estate (MRED) program. Mr. Cook also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst

(CFA) designation.

Brian Rupp

Brian is the Vice President of Development for Shopoff Realty Investments, and has expertise in real estate investment syndication, acquisitions, land development, distressed debt portfolios, property management, engineering and planning of urban infill and master-planned communities.

Brian has over 15 years of experience in the acquisition, entitlement, asset management, and disposition of real estate investments and land development projects. He has experience with both private real estate syndications and publicly registered REIT’s, and has successfully managed residential, commercial and industrial real estate investment syndications, and development projects in Pennsylvania, Southern California, Arizona, and the Island of Hawaii.

Brian earned his MBA from California State University – San Marcos, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and a Master’s degree in environmental engineering from Penn State University. He is a Registered Civil Engineer in the State of California. He served on the Board of Directors for the Kailua Village Business Improvement District, and has served as Chairman of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Roundtable Committee.

important to see the problem from many perspectives. Greg Otto’s career has primed him to do

just that. Educated as both architect and engineer, he has been focused on collaborative work

across the spectrum of technical disciplines key to construction, opening up the potential for

innovation. Greg has had the opportunity to work with several prominent industry innovators

where he has successfully led teams in all areas of the construction value chain.

As Agorus’ Vice President of Growth and Construction, Greg is charged to position and advance

our housing product line. With a deep understanding of the many voices of the customer, Greg

is keen to unlock untapped value within the construction ecosystem and deliver truly

transformational (price, quality and performance) housing.

Greg grew up in a small town in Nebraska where he was the first in his family to go to college.

His educational journey concluded at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Having experienced first-hand the value of education, he

remains dedicated in his desire to imbue knowledge to others and champion education as a

positive change agency. To this day, he continues to be focused on mentoring young people

and encouraging them to maximize their potential.

He has taught at prominent architecture and engineering schools throughout his career,

including roles most recently at the University of Southern California (USC) and the Southern

California Institute of Architecture (SCIArc). “I very much enjoy working with young people,

channeling their enthusiastic energy to purpose, and helping them seek and define new visions

and solutions for the future.”

Brent Corn, Director of Sales- ADT Multifamily, is a consumer electronics veteran with more than two decades of experience in the industry. Over the past 10 years, Brent has specialized in the IoT/Automation vertical, with a focus on SaaS for multiple markets, including the multi-family, hotel, commercial lighting, security, and single-family spaces. Outside of work, Brent cheers for Arsenal football club and has been known to learn a song or two on the guitar.

Steve Lee is a tax partner in Citrin Cooperman’s West Los Angeles office. He has over 27 years of professional tax experience in public accounting, providing tax consulting and compliance services to public and private real estate companies and private equity firms.

Steve’s tax expertise includes partnership and corporate taxation. He serves and supports his clients through all phases of an entity’s lifecycle: structuring, acquisitions, operations, and dispositions. Steve has extensive experience with REITs, real estate funds, leveraged buyout funds, growth equity funds, special debt funds, and management companies.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Steve spent 15 years with Ernst and Young’s Financial Services Real Estate tax practice, and over 7 years with PwC’s Financial Services Real Estate tax practice. During his time there, he was the engagement partner on 2 Fortune 500 Public REITs and several private REITs and real estate funds across multiple real estate sectors.

Ventures, REDA Bascom Ventures, MHF RM Holdings, Bascom Northwest Ventures,

Prior to founding Bascom, Mr. Fink acted as Senior Acquisitions and Sales Manager from

Mr. Fink holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a

Master of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from the University of

Wisconsin-Madison. He is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Managements (IREM)

and Turnaround Management Association (TMA). Mr. Fink is a licensed real estate

broker in the state of California, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a

Certified Property Manager (CPM), a Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA),

and a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP). He has appeared as a guest speaker at

various functions, including those for the Urban Land Institute, University of California

Los Angeles and Irvine, University of Southern California, and other assorted industry

events. Mr. Fink previously served on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Real

Estate Alumni Association and is currently a member of the USC Lusk Center for Real

Estate Executive Committee.  He has previously served on the board for the Young

Presidents Organization (YPO) California Coast chapter and is currently a member of the

World Presidents Organization (WPO).

In 2004, Mr. Fink was awarded the Apartment Executive of the Year by the Real Estate

Conference Group, the industry's largest and most prestigious multifamily conference

on the West Coast, and was later awarded the Rising Star award by the University of

California Irvine Center for Real Estate in 2008. Mr. Fink was also recognized in the 2011

Multi-Family Executive Magazine. In 2016, Mr. Fink was awarded the Ernst & Young

Entrepreneur of the Year, Orange County.

Lesley Hampton is the Vice President of Project Development for National CORE, where she is responsible for managing an extensive pipeline of potential projects through the development process, overseeing a large team of project managers, cultivating relationships with a variety of external stakeholders, and performing comprehensive financial analysis to create complex deal structures. She embraces the mission of transforming communities and lives through the development of quality affordable housing. With more than 18 years of experience in affordable housing and finance, she has been responsible for the development and construction of more than 2,000 units and securing more than $500 million in financing. Her entitlement and development expertise include acquisition/rehab, mixed-use, and new construction projects. Lesley received a bachelor’s degree from the University of California San Diego and a M.B.A degree from the University of California Irvine.
