711 Fifth Avenue

711 Fifth Avenue is located at the core of one of the most exclusive commercial, residential and retail corridors in the world: The Plaza District – a submarket synonymous with wealth and luxury. Originally designed by Bethlehem Engineering Corporation and completed in 1927, the building was presented with a design award by the Fifth Avenue Association for its elegance and beauty.

The building has enjoyed almost a century of institutional ownership as one of only 20 boutique office buildings along Fifth Avenue, the most prestigious office and retail location in New York City. 711 Fifth Avenue has enjoyed historic tenancy, serving as headquarters to notable corporations such as NBC, Columbia Pictures, and its namesake, Coca-Cola.

The 56,000 square foot retail and restaurant space at 711 Fifth Avenue has attracted destination retailers and restaurants, such as La Côte Basque restaurant, the famed Le Pavillon restaurant, The Walt Disney Store, and Ralph Lauren. The building is still home to the renowned Polo Bar.

SHVO acquired 711 Fifth in September 2019. While continuing to operate the 340,000 square feet of office and retail space, SHVO will elevate the property through enhancements to both public spaces and building amenities.

Our Commitment to Safety

We have experienced the enthusiasm of returning to live in-person events this year, having safely and successfully hosted more than 20,000 executives to date. While we are thrilled to convene together to propel growth within CRE, COVID-19 remains a worldwide concern and Bisnow is committed to practicing safe protocols at our events. You can expect the following:

  • Proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-test result from the past 72 hours will be required as a condition of entry to this event. Proof of vaccination or negative test results can be shown via a physical card or a digital image of your records.
  • In accordance with the recent NY Governor mandate, masks will be mandatory for any non-vaccinated attendees - regardless of negative PCR test proof. We strongly encourage all vaccinated attendees to also wear masks.  Masks will be made available at the door.
  • Temperature checks will be conducted at entry.
  • Contact tracing procedures will be employed for any reported exposure.
  • Socially distanced seating will be available in the main event space.
  • Enhanced sanitization protocols will be adhered to throughout the event space including regularly disinfecting surfaces throughout the event and hand sanitizer provided to all attendees.

As local regulations and guidance evolve, the CRE industry continues to lead the way forward. We look forward to gathering safely to do what we do best: network, connect, and engage to do more business. We look forward to hosting you soon.

After a year of significant transition — from virtual back to live, with a few more webinars in between — Bisnow only thought it appropriate to end our last event of the year with our Holiday Cocktail! Join your friends at Bisnow, as well as New York's top developers, thought leaders and influencers for an open bar and great food. More details to come!

What You'll Learn:

  • What types of funds are being raised and how will they be deployed in 2022? Which asset classes will be most attractive to investors?
  • What is the roadmap to start driving occupancy rates back up and which developments and design elements are best positioned to accomplish that?
  • Multifamily deals are continuing to pick up at the end of 2021. Which areas are developers targeting and what does investor confidence look like in NYC with multifamily developers and investors considering southern markets such as Florida and Nashville?
  • How are struggling asset classes such as retail and office attempting to co-exist to increase foot traffic in NYC?
  • How are developers, lenders and property managers attempting to maximize a building's value by navigating New York's Local Law 97 requirements?
