Mark DeLillo has 24 years of institutional real estate finance experience, and has

contributed to the successful completion of more than $20 billion in real estate

assignments.

Mr. DeLillo heads BlueGate’s Multifamily Capital Markets team, focusing on raising

capital, joint-venture structuring, financing and sales of institutional-quality residential

buildings. Having executed more than 125 assignments in New Jersey, including 50

assignments in Jersey City and Hoboken, Mark is one of the foremost experts on NJ

Gold Coast multifamily investments. He also sits on the investment committee of

Atlantic Creek Real Estate Partners, a Palm Beached based private equity real estate

fund that invests nationally in the small to middle-market multifamily development and

value-add space.

Prior to co-founding BlueGate Partners, Mr. DeLillo was a Managing Director & Partner

of DTZ Rockwood, an international property advisory firm. At DTZ Rockwood, Mr.

DeLillo led the firm’s multifamily group and was responsible for successfully executing in

excess of $6.5 billion of multifamily joint-venture equity, financing, investment sales and

advisory assignments and $1.5 billion of residential land transactions. Preceding his

accomplished career at DTZ Rockwood, Mr. DeLillo worked at Prudential Asset

Management Group, in both its private fixed income and real estate investment

divisions.

Gerard is a Director in JLL Capital Markets’ New Jersey office, where he specializes in debt and equity placement for

Living/Multi-Housing assets across the United States, with a primary focus on the NY/NJ/CT Tri-State area. He brings

deep expertise in multifamily lending, working closely with clients to structure innovative financing solutions for

both single assets and property portfolios. Gerard has successfully closed over $4 billion in transactions, consistently

delivering exceptional results for institutional and private capital clients alike. His analytical background and market

expertise enable him to navigate complex multifamily financing transactions with precision and creativity. Gerard

graduated from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics. He

was recognized in the Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal’s “30 Under 30” list, highlighting his early career achievements

and leadership potential in the commercial real estate industry.

Mitchell Berkey is chair of the firm’s Real Estate, Development and Land

Use Group. He concentrates on all aspects of real estate ventures and

transactions, including acquisitions, sales, financing, development, leasing,

management, loan workouts, ownership restructuring and resolution of

intra-ownership disputes. His extensive background spans all asset types,

including office, retail, industrial, hospitality and mixed-use properties

in markets across the United States.

With three decades of experience on all sides of the transaction table, Mitch

brings a business-oriented approach to his legal practice. As an attorney,

he has advised institutional and entrepreneurial real estate owners,

managers, lenders, corporate real estate users and foreign governments.

As an asset manager, he was responsible for the management of a national

portfolio of office, retail, industrial and residential properties.

Mike is a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of the New Jersey office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joins JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has more than 14 years of experience in commercial real estate. He specializes in investment advisory in the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania markets. Over the course of his career, Michael has been involved in more than $4 billion of office, industrial, retail and multifamily sales.

Michael started at HFF in February 2007 as a debt and equity analyst. His primary responsibilities were the placement of debt and equity for owners of office, retail, multifamily and industrial properties.

Prior to joining Parity in 2021, James spent ten years at Bright Power. Chris J. Murphy is a partner at Murphy Schiller & Wilkes LLP, a boutique law firm specializing in

commercial real estate and development. A partner in the firm, Chris leads the Land Use,

As the leader of the firm’s Land Use, Zoning and Redevelopment practice, Chris has been

involved in transformational development projects throughout New Jersey, and regularly

represents some of the largest institutional developers in connection with obtaining approvals

for industrial, mixed-use, multifamily, retail, and commercial projects before local, county, and

state boards and agencies.

In addition, Chris leads the firm’s Tax Credits and Incentives practice, where he has helped

clients procure over $500M in tax credits and incentives offered through the New Jersey

Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) and other state and local government agencies.

Chris is the co-author of the Financial Incentives Chapter of Commercial Real Estate

Transactions in New Jersey (2019, 4 th Edition), published by the New Jersey Institute for

Continuing Legal Education, a division of the New Jersey State Bar Association. His insight on

the topic of real estate development has been featured in both regional and national

publications, including NJBIZ, Real Estate NJ, and The Wall Street Journal.

Chris received his law degree from Rutgers Law School, and a master’s degree from the

Rutgers University School of Management and Labor Relations. He received his undergraduate

degree, summa cum laude, from Kean University.

An avid competitor, Chris competed professionally in both ice hockey and boxing prior to

starting his career as an attorney.
