Joel Bergstein is the President of Lincoln Equities Group (LEG), one of the Northeast's leading full-service real estate companies.

Bergstein joined the company more than 32 years ago, spearheading the organization’s acquisition and development initiatives. He currently leads the firm’s large scale development platform, orchestrating major residential and industrial land development projects in the New York / New Jersey metro area.

Bergstein developed LEG’s current operating partner platform, leveraging domestic and international opportunities with private equity and pension funds. Bergstein is a founding partner and active participant in LEG’s $700M European property investment platform.

Some of his standout development projects include Halletts Point in Astoria, NY, where LEG transformed a seven acre waterfront site into 2,400 residential apartment units; 5 Giralda in Madison, NJ, a 431,000 square-foot property, that was modernized to become Allergan’s U.S. headquarters; and in early 2018, LEG closed on a 152 acre waterfront site in Bayonne, NJ, where 1.4M square-feet of e-commerce logistics warehousing will be developed to bolster trade with the Port of New York and New Jersey.

Lincoln has formed a partnership with Bruce Eichner’s Continuum Company to develop a mixed-income residential complex in Crown Heights, NY. It will be a 50/50 market and workforce development project to bring hundreds of needed housing units for middle and working class families in New York City. Bergstein is also leading the development and approval process for 1,500 new residential units in Jersey City including the construction of a light rail station.

Bergstein serves on numerous real estate advisory boards and is a speaker and frequent commentator in real estate trade and business media in addition to his philanthropic work.

Jordan is a Senior Director in the New Jersey office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has ten years of experience in commercial real estate. He specializes in investment advisory in New Jersey and the surrounding New York Metro area. Throughout the course of his career, he has been involved in nearly $3 billion of transactions.

Jordan started at HFF in June 2013. Prior to joining HFF New Jersey, he spent one year as a debt and equity Analyst in HFF’s Dallas office. Before that he was the Director of investments for a Dallas-based oil and gas real estate exploration firm.

Mitchell Berkey

Mitchell Berkey concentrates on all aspects of real estate ventures and transactions, including

acquisitions, sales, financing, development, leasing, management, loan workouts, ownership

restructuring and resolution of intra-ownership disputes. His extensive background spans all asset

types, including office, retail, industrial, hospitality and mixed-use properties in markets across the

United States.

With three decades of experience on all sides of the transaction table, Mitch brings a business-

oriented approach to his legal practice. As an attorney, he has advised institutional and

entrepreneurial real estate owners, managers, lenders, corporate real estate users and foreign

governments. As an asset manager, he was responsible for the management of a national portfolio of

office, retail, industrial and residential properties.

Mitch's experience includes a wide range of complex transactions involving both the public and

private sectors. Among the more unique projects in which Mitch played a direct role are the

following:

 American Dream | Meadowlands™, projected to be one of the world's largest retail,

entertainment and TM tourism centers

 E Walk, a New York Times Square redevelopment project

 The conversion of a residential condominium to an extended stay hotel

 The restructuring of a national syndication firm

 The acquisition, financing and remediation of Brownfield properties

 The master leasing of building facades for signage, billboard and telecommunications use

 The leasing and construction of foreign missions for sovereign nations

 The acquisition and sale of parking facilities

In December 2008, New Jersey Governor Jon S. Corzine appointed Mitch to the New Jersey Real

Estate Advisory Board, which was created to help establish strategies to encourage economic growth

in the state of New Jersey. Mitch chaired the Advisory Board's Environmental Subcommittee.

Mitch has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Real Estate Development in the Master of Science in

Real Estate Development program at Columbia University, and speaks often on real estate industry

matters.

Mitch received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he was editor-in chief of the

Fordham Urban Law Journal.

Brian leads the Northeastern US Industrial development business for Transwestern Development. In this role he has senior responsibility over sourcing and executing institutional industrial projects in the Northeast with a primary emphasis on New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. He identifies target investment opportunities in these critical submarkets on behalf of the firm and forms the development team for each project. He has responsibility for the underwriting, due diligence, entitlements, construction, leasing and disposition for each development. He interacts with the Company’s Houston headquarters to determine and form the appropriate capital structure as well as secure institutional partners for each project.

Transwestern Development Company develops office, industrial, multifamily, mixed use and healthcare projects throughout the United States. The Logistics Group develops both speculative and build-to-suit industrial projects, primarily in major distribution markets. Expertise includes intermodal logistics, e-commerce, port strategy, sustainability and municipal incentives. The Company has completed more than 14 million square feet of projects throughout the country during the last four years, and currently has over 4 million under development including both large-scale bulk distribution and infill projects. Execution structures include conventional equity joint ventures, forward take-outs and owner-financed fee projects. As part of the Transwestern Enterprise, the Company contains in-house expertise in equity and debt placement, construction, property management, and leasing in both its Houston headquarters and 35 U.S. offices.

Brian’s previous experience includes President and Board Member of Heller Industrial Parks, one of the country’s largest private industrial developers, as well as senior management roles with Advance Realty Group, Alfieri, Mack-Cali and Sanzari Enterprises. He began his commercial real estate career as a broker at Cushman & Wakefield.

Brian has served on multiple industry and charity boards. He is a member of NAIOP, IOREBA, and a frequently requested speaker at conferences.

Brian received his BBA and MBA from the University of Wisconsin. He is a licensed New Jersey real estate broker.

Shaun Keegan

Shaun founded Solar Landscape in 2012 and led the transition to become a leader in the commercial and industrial solar industry. With the advent of “community solar” the company is focused on leasing roof space from industrial building owners to host solar installs. This allows CRE owners to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability without impacting their tenants, and receive a significant rent payment on otherwise underutilized space. The company has leased over 4 million sq feet, with a proven ability to execute projects. Shaun studied economics and renewable energy at Colorado University and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Drexel Law School in Philadelphia.

Josh Kuskin is Senior Project Manager, Design and Construction for Rockefeller Group’s NJ/PA Region. From 2017-2020, Mr. Kuskin led the design and construction efforts on Rockefeller Group’s 2.1 million square foot logistics center in Piscataway, NJ. spanning five buildings with six tenants, and more recently managed the company’s 900,000 square foot spec-to-suit industrial development in Edison, NJ. Since joining the firm in 2014, Mr.Kuskin has worked on projects across all asset classes and is an experienced industry professional, having previously spent four years at one of New York City’s top construction firms, RC Dolner. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Roger Williams University and is an active member of NAIOP as well as the ACE Mentor Program, which introduces high school students to careers in architecture, construction, and engineering.

Marc Lebovitz is President of Romark Logistics and oversees all strategic and daily operations of the family business. Founded in 1954, Romark Logistics has grown organically and through strategic acquisitions into one of the top third-party logistics and cold chain providers in North America servicing some of the leading food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and retail customers around the world. Romark owns and operates over 8 million square feet of warehouse space with locations in NJ, PA, TX, GA, and CA.

Marc also serves as a Principal of Woodmont Industrial Partners, which owns and manages a portfolio of more than 3 million square feet of industrial properties. Woodmont Industrial Partner investments focus on globally oriented seaport and inland port markets in the Eastern United States.

Marc graduated from Wagner College in 1991 with a BS in Business Management. He also serves on the Wagner College Board of Trustees, since 2010. Marc is actively involved in many associations and groups within the supply chain and logistics industry.
