As Senior Vice President of Senior Housing Development, Shannon is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships with an emphasis in strategic real estate planning. Shannon is the lead developer of Oppidan’s Senior Housing portfolio, including The Pillars Senior Living Communities throughout Minnesota and multiple developments in California.

Prior to joining Oppidan in 2005, Shannon amassed extensive real estate experience through her work in the corporate real estate division of Cushman & Wakefield LaSalle Partners in Chicago, IL, as well as Trammell Crow Company in St. Louis, MO. In these roles, she represented several major corporations throughout their corporate relocations across the country. Prior to this, she was an engineer for IBM Corporation.

Shannon founded Oppidan’s Women Lead Empowerment series and is a regular speaker for industry events including the Minnesota Real Estate Journal Housing Summit, MNCrew Senior Housing panel and MNCrew Women in Business panel. She’s the Secretary of the Campfire Minnesota Board and she created Senior Camp Days at Tanadoona, in which residents in Oppidan’s senior housing communities take day trips to experience the outdoors. Her prior board memberships include Children’s Cancer Research Fund, Teach for America and Junior League. In 2020, Shannon was named one of the Women in Business Honorees by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and named to the Twin Cities Business Notable Women in CRE list.

Shannon received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Minnesota. Shannon is a member of ASHA, NIC, MNCAR and ULI.

In her free time, Shannon stays active running, biking, yoga, golf and more.

Josh Budish is the firm’s founder and a 20-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry. His experience includes developing over $500M, managing over $750M, and investing over $1B in commercial real estate on behalf of institutional investors. As principal for Endeavor Development, Josh’s extensive knowledge of the industry offers his partners the confidence to develop, acquire and manage their real estate assets. Prior to founding Endeavor, Josh was vice president of leasing and development at Duke Realty Corporation from 2014 to 2020. In this role, he was responsible for the leasing, development, and overall performance of the company’s 5.1 million-square-foot industrial portfolio in the Minneapolis market. Josh worked at Liberty Property Trust from 2004 to 2014, most recently as director of leasing. He received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. Josh currently serves on the board of directors for the Minnesota chapter of NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association and volunteers his time as a coach for youth athletics.

As a managing director, Tim Elam is responsible for the management and administration of Scannell Properties' Corporate Service accounts throughout the United States. His involvement includes the entire development process including land acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, lease negotiations, construction, and client services. He has completed over 40 build-to-suits in Industrial, Office and Retail totaling over 50 million square feet. His primary accounts are FedEx, American Tire Distributors, DuPont-Pioneer, and others. Tim has been with Scannell for 10 years. Tim leverages his experience and education in finance, engineering and construction management to continually provide outstanding service to Scannell's clients. In 2011, Tim opened Scannell's Minneapolis office. The office currently has four employees and focuses on local and national development opportunities. Tim is a graduate of Purdue University's Krannert School of Management where he obtained a master's in business administration. He has also obtained his master's in construction engineering and management from Purdue University and a bachelor's in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University.

Ask Barry about any of the many successful projects he’s managed and he’ll tell you, “Teamwork is everything.” Delivering an outstanding finished product is impossible without an effective and well-managed team, and Barry is skilled at bringing the right people together for the smoothest possible process.

Barry holds a Construction Management degree from Mankato State University, Mankato, Minnesota as well as a minor in business. During his career as a Project Manager, quality construction, superior craftsmanship and meeting deadlines were his foremost concerns throughout the project. He takes seriously his responsibility for accurate job costing and timing, treating each job as if every client’s time and money was his own. More than just a job, construction is Barry’s calling.

Today, Barry is a member of the Gardner Builders Executive Leadership Team. He also serves as a Board Member for the local non-profit Perspectives.

Bill Griffith is a shareholder for Larkin Hoffman in the firm’s real estate and land use practice group. He practices extensively in land use, zoning, real estate, environmental permitting and municipal law. Bill has served as legal counsel to Mall of America for more than 20 years and also serves as city attorney for the city of Columbus. In addition to his practice, he has been an adjunct professor in land use law at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. Bill has published articles and guest commentary in Urban Land, Minnesota Business, Minneapolis Star Tribune, St. Paul Pioneer Press and the Minnesota Real Estate Journal, and is a frequent speaker at seminars on land use, zoning, municipal and environmental law.

Robb Bader is the Principal and President. After college, Robb spent 8 years as an investment sales and leasing broker in the California submarkets of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. In 2008, he moved to Minneapolis and started at Bader Diamond Fund. He is in charge of new development and acquisitions for the company.

Robb graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Communications. Since moving to Minneapolis, he has been involved as a member of the Minnesota Multi Housing Association and currently serves on the MHA Board of Directors as well as the leadership committee for the MHA Young Professionals Group.

Chris Osmundson

Chris joined Alatus in July of 2015.

As Development Director, Chris is responsible for leading the Alatus commercial and multi-family real estate development portfolio of projects through all facets of the development cycle. This includes project sourcing, initial financial modeling and feasibility analysis, entitlement and approvals processes, design and architectural review, and construction overview and progress tracking, as well as debt and equity placement and execution. Projects currently in Alatus’ pipeline include 12th Street Tower project near the Convention Center, 200 Central Condominiums, in Northeast, and Rice Creek Commons, a master redevelopment of the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant in Arden Hills.

Prior to joining Alatus, Chris was a Development Associate with Dominium Development & Acquisition. There, Chris worked to close multiple projects, mainly in affordable housing programs including Section 42 LIHTC and Section 8.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Wisconsin School of Business. Chris is also actively involved in the University of Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (UWREAA) and Urban Land Institute. Chris has recently joined panel discussions including Rochester and the DMC initiative, condo market viability in the Twin Cities market, and was a juror for the AIA Merit Awards for 2017.

Douglas Hayden boasts an impressive track record spanning over 20 years in both the Commercial and Residential real estate sectors. Alongside his team, Doug has successfully executed more than 1,600 transactions, building a reputation for diligence, innovation, and client satisfaction.

Before delving into real estate, Doug sharpened his skills in the realm of business development. He held prominent roles at multiple tech startups, all of which were later acquired by industry giants such as Apple, IBM, and British Telecom. Doug's knack for identifying potential and strategically positioning businesses for success was further cemented during his tenure at SMED, an office solutions provider. Here, Doug steered the company towards integration with tech platforms like Cisco Systems, focusing on enhancing office environments with technology-infused solutions for raised flooring, walls, and ceiling systems. SMED was acquired by Hawworth in 2000.

In addition to his industry accomplishments, Doug is a distinguished realtor and has been recognized with numerous community support awards throughout his career. Notably, he was part of the pioneering team that established EXP Realty in Canada, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to innovation in the real estate industry. In honor of his service and impact on communities, he is the recipient of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Citizenship Medal and the Alberta Centennial Medal.

With his forward-thinking vision and relentless drive, Doug Hayden continues to reshape the landscape of the real estate industry in North America and beyond.

Mike joined Arch Amenities Group after acquisition of LifeStart to lead the firm's growth.

Working with national and regional leadership and leading the new business development

team, Mike focuses on maintaining, enhancing, and growing client relationships across the

portfolio.

Experience

Mike has more than 30 years of experience in fitness and real estate operations.  Mike most

recently served as Chief Operating Officer for LifeStart’s portfolio of 100 properties. He had

direct oversight of the management divisions of their fitness and hospitality platforms. He

lead operations, design, construction, sales and marketing, growing the management

portfolio from 29 sites to 100.

The main catalyst of growth was the added scope of full-building programming and amenity

management. LifeStart helped Tishman Speyer launch their ZO program in the Chicago and

Boston Markets and subsequently started providing Community Engagement and hospitality

management solutions for groups like Zeller, MBRE, Shorenstein, Brookfield, Silverstein and

CIM.

Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Rehabilitation from the Illinois

State University, a Master of Science in Exercise Science from Illinois State University and a

Master of Education from University of Illinois Chicago.
