As we saw last year, Bethesda is certainly on the rise. From Marriott's move to the area to tenants such as Target and more, projects dot Wisconsin Avenue, promising major change in the region. But change comes with its own issues. A moratorium on development in areas outside of Bethesda, as well as a commercial tax base, has some worrying that Montgomery County as a whole will slide into an economic depression. Can Bethesda alone shoulder this burden? Or is it time for developers to shift their focus to areas just outside of Bethesda, including Rockville and Silver Spring?
Get the answers to these questions at our Neighborhood Series: Bethesda event. Hear from developers, investors, and thinkers focused on Wisconsin Avenue and beyond to ensure Bethesda and greater Montgomery County continues to grow - especially as rumors of recession are on the rise.
