Jack is a Director at Runyon and oversees the company’s real estate acquisition and development arm. Born in Metro Detroit, Jack’s love for real estate & design is rooted in his upbringing. Watching the city’s demise & subsequent re-emergence sparked his interest in the built environment, understanding the role real estate developers play in the health and vibrancy of a city. At Runyon, Jack has successfully led multiple ground-up and adaptive reuse projects from inception through completion totaling over $200M in value. Previously, Jack was on the development team at Bedrock Detroit working on $2bn worth of investments across 15 million square feet of retail, residential, hotel and office properties.

As Vice President of Leasing for Kilroy , Christy manages the leasing of Kilroy’s 4.5M square foot Los Angeles Office Portfolio.

With over 20 years in commercial real estate, Christy spent her first 10 years as an analyst and broker with the CAC Group in San Francisco representing tenants and landlords. After moving to Los Angeles in 2009 she joined the principal side and worked with Equity Office from 2009-2015 and Douglas Emmett from 2015-2019. Her career in office leasing, representing tenants and landlords both private and public, has provided Christy with a strong foundation and understanding of structuring deals and marketing properties.

James is an Executive Vice President located in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Los Angeles corporate office, where he focuses on tenant and landlord representation services in the Los Angeles area. James advises clients on a full range of real estate services including portfolio and leasing strategy, space acquisition, disposition and occupancy analysis, and cost savings strategies. James has a dynamic professional background that includes 25 years of experience in real estate brokerage leadership, agency leasing, tenant representation, corporate services, real estate development, and law. This breadth of experience allows James to provide clients with strategies that offer cost savings and value for a broad range of transactions such as leases, building and land acquisitions, and property dispositions.

James returned to JLL after leading seven brokerage offices in the Los Angeles region for a global real estate services firm overseeing 90 real estate professionals James was responsible for business planning and client pursuit with individual brokers and brokerage teams, recruiting and training brokers, enhancing the office culture, and implementing company initiatives. Previously, he was the Vice President of Leasing for Brookfield Properties’ Downtown LA office portfolio, which consisted of 8.5 million square feet of Class A office buildings. At Brookfield, James developed and successfully implemented leasing strategies and marketing campaigns for Trophy assets including community, tenant and broker engagement events, building tours and presentations, and negotiating leases from initial proposal through execution. He began his real estate career with Catellus Development Corporation and was responsible for the marketing and leasing of Union Station in Los Angeles and the Mission Bay project in San Francisco. James is also a lawyer having practiced commercial litigation with Haight, Brown & Bonesteel.

Patricia “Patti” E. Gilbert is Senior Vice President of Leasing with CBRE responsible for leasing a 4.5 million SF regional portfolio of award-winning, Class “A”, trophy office properties including the landmark Century Plaza Towers and 2000 Avenue of the Stars in Century City and Water Garden in Santa Monica. Patti has been responsible for leasing more than 10 million SF for the real estate assets owned by institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

Patti has been honored with several awards for her work, including CBRE’s Top Performer and Top Producer, Los Angeles Business Journal’s Hot Prospect Broker Award, Century City Chamber of Commerce Woman of Achievement Award, and Real Estate SoCal’s Hot Broker List Winner.

Prior to joining CBRE, Ms. Gilbert was Senior Portfolio Leasing Manager for the West Los Angeles Region of Arden Realty, Inc., where her responsibilities included leasing and marketing of the Howard Hughes Center, Corporate Point and Century Boulevard projects. Ms. Gilbert worked with Hines as a Leasing and Marketing Manager before joining Arden Realty, where she was responsible for leasing and general marketing for the Lantana Media Campus in Santa Monica.

Before her tenure with Hines, Ms. Gilbert was a senior associate for Cushman Realty Corporation and manager of real estate services for the West Los Angeles office.

Patti has been committed to raising funds to help those in need since the age of 12. She has helped raise more than $2 million over the past two decades through her volunteerism, board participation and event chairpersonships at organizations including Chaka Khan Foundation, Urban Fitness 911, Affordable Living for the Aging and California Special Olympics.

Real estate attorney Joseph Dzida focuses on putting his clients first in every aspect of his work. He takes pride in his ability to advise on both legal matters as well as business-related issues and considerations in connection with his representation.

Joe's practice focuses on acquisitions and dispositions of commercial office, industrial, and retail properties, as well as leasing transactions, in which he represents landlords and tenants in both large and small scale office, retail, industrial, medical, shopping center, and mixed-use real estate projects across the country. Scott Hayner serves as a Managing Director, Development at CIM Group®, where he is responsible for managing the development process across CIM’s platforms from acquisition through building completion. In this role, he manages jurisdiction approvals, contract negotiations, budgets, design, construction management, and more.

Prior to joining CIM, Mr. Hayner was a Principal at Scott Hayner Designs where he oversaw the development and design process for all projects. His experience also includes a project manager position with David Lawrence Gray Architects / Flatiron Development.

Mr. Hayner received a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California.

Timan serves as Managing Director of DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners. Based in Los Angeles, Timan leads the firm’s investment efforts in Southern California, where he focuses on commercial and residential development and value-add opportunities. In addition to managing acquisitions, Timan is actively involved with design and entitlement efforts, sourcing and closing debt and equity financings, and asset management of DLJ’s portfolio. Prior to joining DLJ, Timan worked in the Real Estate Investment Banking group at Barclays, where he advised on nearly $2 billion of real estate acquisition, joint venture and financing transactions. Timan earned a B.A. in Business-Economics and a minor in Accounting from UCLA, where he later obtained his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees.

Megan Moloughney

Megan Moloughney is Vice President of Development for the Los Angeles region of

Skanska USA Commercial Development, which delivers customer-focused, highly

sustainable office, mixed-use and multi-family properties across the United States.

With more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate management and

development, Megan is responsible for guiding her project teams through the execution

of Skanska Commercial Development’s regional strategy. This is not limited to

conceptual design, permitting, pre-construction and construction activities, leasing,

operations and recapitalization.

Most recently, Megan worked as the Senior Development Manager for The Ratkovich

Company overseeing recapitalization of assets, redevelopment, leasing, as well as

entitlements for a 790-unit residential project. Megan is a member of the Urban Land

Institute, ICSC, Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Metropolitan Museum of

Art. She currently serves an executive board member of the Alhambra Chamber of

Commerce as well as the Sister Stella Foundation. In 2018 Megan was recognized

BisNow’s SoCal Power Women.

Moloughney graduated with a bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of

Washington.

Frank Stephan is a partner with New York-based DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners and its Los Angeles subsidiary Clarett West Development. He was formerly head of The Clarett Group’s West Coast Operations. Mr. Stephan is credited with leading the community focused entitlement, planning

and development of Eastown, formerly known as Blvd6200, covering two city blocks on Hollywood Blvd adjacent to the famed Pantages Theatre. Mr. Stephan has worked in the real estate development and construction industry for 20 years. He has had senior-level project experience in over 1 million square feet of residential development, nearly 600,000 square feet of large-scale retail development, and has entitled and designed an additional 1.2 million square feet of mixed-use. All of this work has been done in the high-barrier-to-entry markets of New York and Southern California. Mr. Stephan is active in the community and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and the Hollywood Entertainment District Business Improvement District. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Chris has 13 years of commercial real estate experience with a focus on office leasing. In 2018 he left the traditional leasing world to join Knotel where he led the West Coast real estate team. Chris has developed a deep understanding of the flex sector viewing it from all angles and across multiple territories, having worked with brokers, operators and as well as being a serviced office tenant himself. He helps to drive the essensys’ expansion in North America and is passionate about delivering the best occupier experience.

Outside of work you will likely find him at the beach with his family, surfing and hanging out in the sand or on the football field coaching or throwing the ball with his son.

Meg is the Director of Business Development for Vari, the workspace innovation company that offers flexible furniture solutions to create workspaces that elevate people. Thriving most when she’s able to build relationships, Meg works to help companies create workspaces that can adapt to their needs.

Meg has a background in marketing and joined Vari in November 2015 when the company was still known as VariDesk. After managing international marketing and sales enablement programs for a few years, Meg became immersed in special projects surrounding the world of commercial real estate. This prompted a career shift into business development where Meg has since been consistently recognized as a top producer. Today, as Director of Business Development, Meg works with commercial asset owners and developers nationwide.

Meg earned a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communication from Texas Christian University (TCU) and was a member of the TCU Order of Omega Honor Society. Meg is also a member of The Real Estate Council (TREC) Young Guns, being one of 30 individuals selected to the TREC Associate Leadership Council (ALC), and the Urban Land Institute, a nonprofit research and education organization dedicated to shaping the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide.

In her spare time, Meg and her husband love to spend time with their young daughter, Lou. Meg also loves traveling and trying out new restaurants.

An employee since 2006, she is responsible for a portfolio of commercial assets valued at over $4.5 billion on the West Coast including, commercial, retail, multifamily and life science. That portfolio is comprised of assets in various stages of the investment cycle and strategy from opportunistic development to stabilized core. Lauren is also a Portfolio Manager responsible for the direct commercial real estate investments held by two Separate Account clients. Prior to joining the firm, she participated in approximately $2 billion in transaction volume working with a San Francisco Bay Area multifamily brokerage team focused on large institutional transactions. In addition, Lauren spent several years in equity research for a San Francisco based investment bank. Lauren holds a B.A. in interdisciplinary communications from Vanderbilt University.
